Hey all well made it past 90 days! Still enjoy the company getting my miles have not got another truck yet every time they send me to get one its in the shop for one reason or another! But will have one by the end of the month!
Have nothing to say bad about the company or my FM! Do not regret my choice and still say all the people whom are saying bad things about the company are doing it to themselves!
I do not profess knowing everything about this line of work and still learning everyday! Had a old timer tell me the other night at a truck stop "As soon as you stop learning in this field its time to find another job."
I take advise from others out there enjoy talking to others that have been on the road for years! But one thing i can not stand and its in our company too is the drivers whom they think they know everything and will tell you how to do your job too and how to drive your truck! "SUPER TRUCKER"
I have been going at this since July 19th 2010 when i started C-1 and I am enjoying every step of the way! I can tell everyone to keep a very positive look out! And another thing you took this job knowing that what you were stepping into so how can you sit and ##### when you should be thankful that USA gave you the chance to drive and to start this new career path!
So all i have to say is every company someone has a ##### moan or does not like something about it weather it be a driving job or another job!

EXACTLY WVA!! Finally the voice of reason crying in the wilderness. Its the drivers who do it to themselves, not the Company. I'm a USA driver and I know the Company is not perfect. However, what Company is? At the end of the day a Company is only as good as its employees and I think USA does a good job "thinning the herd", and really its not USA, its the employess thinning themselves by not making good decisions.
Terminal rats, complain about everything and if they are doing it in the field you know for sure it is transparent in their attitudes.
Miles are there. Communicate, communicate, communicate...then communicate somemore. Attitude determines altitude, corny...but TRUE!
I drive a 9400 with 440k, ICON does not work, breaks down on average 1x per week. Frustrating, yep, makes me madder than hell sometimes. Is that USA's fault the truck breaks down? Nope, not 1x have they ever left me sitting holding the bag. They always make it right and one day I will have a different truck (soon). Probably one that was assigned to a experienced OTR person who quit or a foolish rookie who does not have any patience. Either way, quit, leave vamoose! If its soooooooooooooo bad here, take the train, or in the case of USA, the bus! We dont need you, but we will take the miles

Right now I am sitting in a hotel in lewiston Maine, I delivered to Walmart here today out of hours.
I have only 10 hours to play with sunday and monday. I blame my fleet manager for running me too hard.
