    Ouch! Just curious. My dad had spinal fusion about 15 years ago and was back in the seat of a rig in 14 weeks.

    Hope to be back long before that--This surgery has come a long way--not like fusion--they actually remove the faulty disc--and replace with a prostetic unit--kind of like knee or hip relacement--Only been 3 days since--have full range of motion in neck--just real sore and wearing a brace--doc say's full recovery 6-8 weeks--driving only no lifting 3-4 weeks
    Hope he is right.

    Wow, that sounds interesting! Hope he's right about the recovery time too. I'll bet it's still sore though.
