There was about 5 of us hands working for the same trucking outfit, we had left out together going to LA, and were having a pretty good time. Yet at each stop when leaving this one driver would quickly get in his truck and get out ahead of us them start calling on his radio saying, "Come on, lets go, we can fool around."

We had made about our 4th stop, and I noticed one hand was not at our table. In a few minutes here he came and I made a comment and he just winked at me saying I had to take care of something important. I knew something was up, but did not know what it was. We finished our coffee stop, and sure enough the driver I previously referred quickly jumped in his truck taking off as he had been doing before, the rest of us were just getting in our trucks, and there his truck seems to shoots quickly across the truck stop parking lot like lighting, without a trailer! The driver I previously mentioned had dollied down this fellows trailer, unhooked the light and air hose, pulled the fifth-wheel lock, and it was still setting where he he had parked it.

There is a cure for every problem, and I've leared truck drivers can find the cure.

back in 74 i was at lackland afb, security police training school and most of the guy's went one and got new cars nova's and honda's

will one nite comming back from the airmans club a bunch of us (9 of us) thought we would have some fun with the honda's. in frond of the parking lot was a ditch 3ft wide and 4 ft deep with a 15 ft wide bridge. will 5 of us on the front and 4 on the back we just picked up the car and walked over the bridge and side steped along the ditch.

when we were done we had 10 honda's over the ditch with the front on one side and the back on the other and less than 3 in. between then. and a nova sitting sidways on the bridge and we went to bed.

    funny as he!!

i worked on an ambulance for 3 years and had a set partner...

when we would be coming back from a late night transfer the other would be sleeping, anyways for a couple of weeks he would wait till i started to doze off and slame on the breaks and wail on the horn saying "oh sheet". scare the crap out of me.....

so now for the pay back....

our trucks were equipped with air horns that sound a lot like a train horn....

it was my turn to drive back and he had fallen asleep... i came across the first set of rail road tracks and stopped on them turned my passenger side scene light on and wailed on the air horn.... he about ran out of the ambulance.... it was priceless.....

    There's some good one's on here:biggrin_2559:
When I got out of high school I got a job at a trucking co. pumping fuel washing trucks and any thing else that was needed. One night the boss stepped out and when the boss's gone...you know. Some of the guys grabbed skinny ole me tied my boot laces together and hung me upside down from the overhead crane! They then lowed me slowly into an almost empty barrel of grease when suddenly the boss came back, they shushed me and said wait a bit and we'll get you out. Wouldn't ya know the boss come's walking down that isle right pass my legs sticking outa that barrel and KEPT WALKING! Then i heard his foot steps come back and I saw his face look over the rim , he just shook his head and then said "you missed some over there":biggrin_2556: and walked away!

We gota new safety prick that was constantly treaty all the veteran drivers like rookies and constantly berating us..so i:

Set the cruise control on my truck at close to 90mph.

Got up and took a picture of the empty drivers seat and the gauges and speedo were Very clearly visable at 90mph and a mty drivers seat.
With a caption that read:Got up to make a sandwich, thinking of you!!

Sent it to our new Safety MGR.from a pre-paid phone i had that he didnt know the phone# to.

Wow..did the ##### hit the fan the next day!!
