Sooo... receiver instructions say, "listen to channel 19, and the lumpers will come meet you."

Lumper says, "Go park up there, they'll be calling in loads in about 20 minutes."

So I park, n' wait. Nothing on channel 19. After a bit, a group of trucks fire up, and head up to the gate. Leseee... nothin' on the CB, I can hang out forever like Redd, or...

Yup, fired it up, hurried up to the trucks headin' for the gate, went on through, got a door, got unloaded, gone in 2 hours!

Bessemer AL at the Petro, heading for Alba-something-or-other AL in a couple of hours to get a load going to Hope(less) AR for the morning!

If y'all ever stop at the London T/S I highly suggest the Shiloh Roadhouse across the street. great food, good folks even if it IS a tad bit expensive.
twice I've been there and both times the steak was cooked perfectly and the service was great.
