It'd be a gutsy move on your part but if you're willing, let er rip!![]()

B service and DOT inspection at Petro? $299? 2 1/2hrs! How much money does Swift lose in 4 days+paying $50 a day breakdown pay?
Gang I have had my truck for 13 months. I know it's soul!
I do need to get several things fixed soon. I will go to Memphis hopefully.
Although I can't take any days sitting there off my taxes as it is considered my "home." Even though I live 185miles away.
Bluebonn getting breakdown pay? File for it! -

The shops suck and that is all I am going to say! Not worth my time any longer to deal with these morons... I will be leaving Swift as soon as I get hired on somewhere else...

123456 and scottied67 Thank this. -
Careful pissing off the shop supervisor. He can talk to the terminal manager and have you cleaning out your truck in no time. That was what Mark in Memphis told me. He lets a lot roll off his back. He always addresses drivers as "Sir!"

Really I don't care anymore! They wanna take five days to fix something that takes two hours then they can find someone else to drive the truck.. Not worth my time to deal with morons...
They don't pay me enough to put up with this..fairshake and scottied67 Thank this. -
That was a rather LARGE edit there BB..........................
Sorry to hear about your problems.scottied67 Thanks this. -
A friend in Lancaster is considering Conway TL. They don't list Tejas as a hiring area! -
I've experienced those reactions from shop personnel and office personnel as well. Like once in Sparks mechanic comes banging on my door to bring my trailer around so he can put a new tire on it. I didn't know that procedure was to drive thru the fuel island and circle to theright by the shop for this. I went around by the IN and had to do a complicated backing maneuver, this guy was kicking and shaking his head, using negative body language bigtime. We're supposed to be a team, work together, help each other not point laugh and ridicule. My anger management saved that guy's life lol.
Another time I was in New Boston, patiently waiting for the office guy there, he refused to look up at all. I swear I stood there for 120 full seconds and he never looked up to say even "just a moment" or anything. Totally dismissive.
These people need to realize the drivers are the catalyst for their own jobs. Think about what would happen if all Swift drivers got the flu for a week. Their workload would drop like a rock and then maybe they would realize where their work comes from, supporting the drivers. -
I really wonder at times if some of the staff really knows what is going on. I was sent to Menesha per road brkdwn due to two different check engine lights, only to get here and find out that they shut down at 4 and not back until Monday morning. Then find out that they can not even touch the truck because of Warranty work. Something that road would know, at least you would think. Also, they did not even know what code ECU128 means. Was told if the truck is under warranty and it is the check engine light, they can not touch. They were also surprised that road had me drive over 600 miles with the lites on. For sure now when go L/P, only the dealers will touch my truck.
Injun Thanks this.
