There you go demanding good order and discipline in a truck stop.
I too get frustrated with the lazy drivers that must think they are the center of the universe and rules don't apply to their situation. We can't shoot 'em, but I do honk the horn, especially in the morning when I have maneuver my craft through their self-designed, disorganized gauntlet on my way to make a living.
You folks know who you are that don't play according to the rules. Shame on you.
What you do in life does impact other people and you are NOT the center of the universe...so please remove your head out of your arse, look around and respect your fellow drivers. Thank you,![]()
Where are you

I can say I was in the military during the Vietnam era - if you don't understand what that means, then there's nothing more that I can say to you. If you served in combat, then you have my admiration.
I can tell you that my military specialty included the possibility of being assigned to the war zone.
I can also tell you I served in Korea, and was on the receiving end of some definitively unfriendly fire.
I can also tell you I signed certain documents that are still in effect concerning my activities, locations and dates. Those documents and federal law prevent me from expounding on this.
Frankly, if you don't like it you can go pound sand. My military service was honorable, and I have never exagerated any of it. I resent that you would question a fellow veteran.

I know what it means. Another poster did not. Don't complain when people ask you about it. Your wording is what is confusing them. I did pound sand. I was there not state side....

Well then here's something that person needs to understand... well over 60,000,000 Americans (a number being batted around by the DAV) served in the armed forces during that time - and only a small fraction of those Americans acutally were in combat. Every last one of them is entitled to claim they were a "veteran of the Vietnam Era" if they...
1) served on active duty for a period of more than 180 days, any part of which occurred between August 5, 1964 and May 7, 1975, and was discharged or released with other than a dishonorable discharge.
2) was discharged or released from active duty for a service connected disability if any part of such active duty was performed between August 5, 1964 and May 7, 1975.
3) served on active duty for more than 180 days and served in the Republic of Vietnam between February 28, 1961 and May 7, 1975.
Under this definition which is US Federal law, if some guy served 180 days at the North Pole during the period from '64 to '75 - he qualifies. -
