When you've been digging holes as long as I have....it just comes natural...don't even have to think about it!:biggrin_25521:

I appreciate all the posts and pms giving me advice concerning my reaction to cowmobile. No more is needed. Thanks Really, no more is needed.

As to the temps we run: we do get produce from the DC as Otter said but we also pick up from suppliers. We run the temps we're told to by Wal-Mart. This is why I was asking cowboy and giggles about it. I'm of the thought that.....if I don't know then I need to ask. I'm sorry if asking was a problem.

As to where I am. I'll be gone for a while. I'm having a bit of an emotional low right now due to something personal. Not mad......just not fit for human companionship currently. Take care

Nana you're always fit for human companionship. Come on down to South Texas and I'll buy ya some cheesecake while we find somebody to park the reefer beside and annoy the hell out of.

hands Otter a Kevlar helmet and vest. Vaya con Dios amigo.

We took a Walmart load of bananas at what I thought was an odd temp setting, but like others have said - it's on the BOL so that's the setting. Then remembering their logistics systems being pretty much state of the art...

I imagine they probably know the exact moment each bunch of bananas was cut from some tree in Brazil and exactly what temperature to ship it so it reaches the store shelf in your town at a precise level of ripeness.

that is funny in a truely personal way.
just before my last time by the house I had some rejected produce at a WM DC.
when out shopping I was picking up cukes and telling my wife about the rejected ones not looking NEARLY this bad!
I wonder sometimes if they have some sort of "rejection quota" to follow :biggrin_2551:

DO NOT--I REPEAT DO NOT--get this ol cranky SOB started on produce at the store! LMAO--I cannot remember the amount of times or places for that matter--I wanted to go balistic on some poor kid in the produce dept--But I do hold my tongue--although if there is a manger around--I am fond of saying:"I don't know what they did with all that good looking Sweet corn(or whatever)I delivered to Y'all's whse last evening--but you might wanna call up there and ask them if they are gonna invite y'all to their BBQ!"
Most don't get it but some do--LMAO
And good produce@ Wal-Mart--that is the perfect oxymoron!
