I couldn't agree with you more. There is nothing more aggravating than pushing hard and arriving at a receiver's dock at 5am only to be put on a load that isn't scheduled to pickup until 1pm, just like this morning. I'm empty at 6am and now sitting around waiting for a 1pm pickup. There goes my 14hrs clock. If I had know this I would have waited to make my anytime delivery closer to the 10am hour and had all day to get to the next receiver. VERY AGGRAVATING! If we can't have load select to do our own preplaning, at least they could give us a heads up on our next load.
Sorry to hear about the oral surgery, it really is one of the worst things a guy can go through. Hope you get your mouth into hi gear soon.

Like????? actually I am that grumpy old man
...now toothless...only thing I need it to happen next is lose my hair, and I'll be that stereotypical neighbor down the street yelling at all the kids for their loud music, fast driving...and GET OFF MY LAWN!!!!
-
Thanks, all in all, it was totally painless...the only discomfort I had was when they had to put Novocaine in the roof of my mouth, and in my top gum under my upper lip....I swear they were sticking the needle all the way up my nose...other than that, 24 teeth(or pieces of teeth) gone but not forgotten. By the horror stories I had heard, and previous dental visits, I was dreading the whole procedure. But I can smile again and not look like a toothless barefoot yahoo....oh wait...where's my shoes???
(got my replacement teeth the same day)...now I'm ready for my annual physical, the Dr. told me to do 2 things, get my teeth fixed, and lose some weight....DONE and DONE! The only problem, I took 2 weeks to recover, and don't need it...now I have no excuse for that dreaded honey-do list my wife keeps at the ready.

And that's the next thing on my new and improved me that needs to be done...
moonshadow Thanks this. -
Not to get to personal, or graphic, but I've been shooting blanks for the past 18 years. The Mrs and I both are happy with that. Although she has made mention on occasion that she would like another tricycle motor, but I tell her to be patient and wait for the grandkids to show up.

Heads up, if anyone in a 2011 Cascadia gets a message that their truck(engine) needs to go to a Detroit shop for some recall work on the turbo and that its a 1.75 hour job. HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I made it to Detroit power only to be told that there were actually 4 recalls in effect and it would take about 8hrs. That was later updated to 17HRS.
I have just received my first breakdown pay.
The good news, I watched 14 one hour episodes of " Son's of Anarchy " season 1 on Netflix. AMAZING seriesLast edited: May 16, 2011

You had to say something about 'never having to get paid breakdown' didn't you. Works every time for me...except when I say, 'I never win the lottery'...that never works

My wife is sorta' the reason I'm gona get it done...she's been on the pill since my 22 yr old daughter was born...before she starts having bad health issues because of it, we want her off of it, and we're happy with the 2 kids we have...it's time to enjoy the grand kid(s) ourselves.
