My experience with USA truck and some general advice

Well then you should change your picture to say "across 4 states one mile and a time". jk.... its not funny. I got upset with a load coordinator the other day and told I was paid by the mile, not the day. He told me the large gap in the schedule was because of the amount of drivers always late. How sad and pathetic people are. Out here to drive and still they jack off. Not me, 10 hours down and gone! I work the whole amount of time I have everyday and deliver early 8 outta 10 times. When I run outta hours I repower and hit it again. As I write this im sitting at t shipper waiting for the 0530 opening. I suspect I will have to fight with a couple of drivers who have parked closer than me, but im first darn it.......lol

 

When and where are you going? I am going on the 11th in North Little Rock.

 

If you look at the posts in this thread you will see that most of us are already half way or better thru our commitment here at USIT. These forums are fast becoming our "12" step program.

 

July 20th I will be half way to my year. Last 6 days have been my most difficult since I signed on. My FM is ok but those idiot load planners are driving me to drink. Maybe we need to start a USA Truck drivers anonymous forum somewhere so we can "vent".

 

2 months and counting down lol, but won't be leaving until I have another job secured

It's not unbearable, just spotty. I have a good fm so that's 95% of the battle. Six months down second half coming up!

 

i will end up with 2600 this week got loads all weekend to keep me runnin

 

I'm sitting at 2600-2700 right now, would like to get another 500+ in but will probably end up taking a 34 over the 4th since everyone will probably be closed then lol.

 

i got lucky delivered to 3 places down here around Galveston and got a pre plan last night pickin up in Houston tomorrow delivering to Hot Springs Monday morning
