I don't drive for Schneider. Never have. My brother retired from Schneider after 25 years. He says your friend isn't telling the whole story...actually, he said, "That's a load of crap!"

Been with SNI 4 years come September. I can count on one hand the number of times I've been called either during off-duty time in the truck or at home on my scheduled time at home. And I have never been threatened in any way with any consequence.

Twice, they've called me at home. Both times, I was told up front what was needed, and that I could refuse. Once I did refuse, while the other I went ahead and went back to work. I got an additional day off the next time home....no problem.

Times I've been called while in the truck and on break have generally consisted of support shift calling to either clarify my ETD with either a high-value load or sensitive customer or to inform me of a change of some type to my load.

Sorry, but based upon my experience, it sounds (again, saying it sounds) as if he may (MAY) be trying to cover-up for himself, similar to the old "a deer ran out in front of me" alibi.

I wish him well and safe travels.

I did what I was told..Walmart account you have multi stops..you have to be inside the the icy trailer to operate the bulk heads, count the pallets and try to peal off the labels while walmart employees unload the goods. I guest you can say its my fault I slip and fractured my ankle...but the judge don't think so Buddy...

That's what I was thinking. My STL called me every 60 days to see how I was doing. Schneider has it's problems, and NO not all companies do, but I had a great STL. Good guy really looked out for me because I made his job...downright boring probably.
