USA TRUCK Loses Lawsuit

    as I have posted before, usa truck cheats their drivers on their miles and everything else and now they have lost a class action lawsuit which proves it. I got a letter in the mail yesterday telling me I will get some money soon for my cheated miles and wages. If you drove for USA truck before 06/09/2011 you may have money coming.
    I understand they are also being sued for making false and damaging DAC reports. Can't wait to get my money for that one as well.

    this is what the lawsuit papers say word for word what they were sued for and why they lost.. (this is just one paragraph, they were sued for much more)

    failure to provide proper meal and rest breaks, failure to pay all wages owed including miles driven, failure to pay wages, failure to pay appropriate overtime pay, failure to pay appropriate penalties on earned wages, failure to penalties under any provision of the California Labor Code including compensation of benefits, unpaid overtime benefits, deferred retirement benefits, waiting time penalties, penalties of any sort whatsoever. Failure to pay final wages, withholding wages including escrow, failure to pay back pay, failure to pay overtime, liquidated damages, punitive damages.

    I told you this company was a ripoff.

    I got a letter in the mail the other day and the wife said she didn't know what it was about. Said it showed where I had driven for the past few months...Guess I need to get her to read it closer.

    This might be a good thing for all truckers-but then again if lawyers are involved we might be screwed somehow-and this comes from father whose son is a district atty-just my thoughts on it.

    Absolutely nothing johnny! You see USA will simply file bankruptcy close down all operations under that name and do business under a different name completely and end up paying nothing to anybody. That's how our great judicial system works don'tcha know?

    I sent in a return to work # 06:37
    Received a load # 11:43
    Arrived to shipper # 13:35
    I was told when I got there the load was picked up yesterday.
    Sent in a message and said I needed a new load and why # 13:39
    It's now 16:24 and I haven't gotten anything else.
    Sent FM a message about an hour ago and ask had he found me another load. He ask what was wrong with the one I was on. I said I sent you a message 2 hours ago and told you it was picked up yesterday, now he is working on me another load...

    Hurry up and wait
