I just talked to the recruiter today. Said training pay is 8 weeks at $300/week (yikes) and then you are released on your own. Said I would come on at .36 cpm and realistically could see 2100-2300 miles per week- is that about right? FYI I was invited to the Greeley CO location.

    Denton,
21-2300 is very realistic, since Friday I am at 1900 with a run from Downingtown PA to Atlanta that will put me at 2800 which is a slow week lol, I am more accustom to our 3400-3900 mile weeks, it is very conceivable to have some really great weeks, in July since the first of the month in 18 days I am 9800 miles for the month. Not to shabby if you ask me. But some months like June was slow only 11677 for the month.

Eh, its one of the joys of hauling meat!................lol

Most of the guys on here wont sugarcoat it for the Newbies, it happens sometimes, when you haul meat you are gonna sit and wait sometimes!

But the difference between refer and van is when your sitting here at least your waiting to get loaded, if you pull a van you usually sit somewhere waiting to get a load, which in my limited experience usually took longer!

Going to Wakefern in Keasby, NJ. Knew my run of good tlrs had to come to an end but, crap, a hole in the air tank!!!! Come on people, didn't ya maybe, might think something was wrong when all your air leaked out in a couple of minutes while stopped?????

One of the hazards of working for a company that thinks if you've been with them 90 days, your qualified to be a trainer.
