Murdo, SD. Getting more and more discouraged by the hour in my search for the "perfect" company. Buying my own truck is looking better all the time.

    Somebody shoot me. Please.

had a "1nonly" moment today.. woke up in Effingham, Il about an hour and thirty mins late, told myself instead of me being an hour early to my drop, i'd be thirty mins behind.. started my three hour ride into Indiana, upset a prime driver, guess i didn't give him the full 100yrds he wanted when i got over, (sorry but i'm not a fan of holding up the left lane). Riding through Indy listening to the radio and realized that Indiana isn't in the central time zone, and if they are they sure don't believe in day light savings.. turned out to be an hour and thirty mins behind.. receiver thought it was funny.

send my empty call and dispatch replies with a pretrip to pick up today.. i tell them no, that i have no hours.. he calls and asks when i'll be done with my ten..

"Ten? what ten, i'm running out of 70 over here hoss so it'll be midnight before i get something back and it wont be much" he tells me he'll call me back.. five mins go by and he calls saying i'm good to pick up early tomorrow.. i jus laugh and say send it to me.. he laughs back and my QC beeps.. Also told him i'ma end up leasing a truck on, because i can't do this 60mph/65mph garbage anymore, and the no idling or APU for that matter.

gonna be burning the midnite oil tonite, hope ya'll get some good rest.

Wow, You have a lot to be thankful for. You have a happy Lisa. A new car that won't break soon. A happy tenant who is not a crack or meth head. A solid drive train, and a job. Life is good!:biggrin_25519:
