Went to the beach today with the wife and kids for my nephews birthday party. I actually turned the phone off so I could enjoy myself.

Might I say the view was nice all day......:yes2557:

Not stuck in that regard, unfortunately, that would be much easier. No, I had a flat drive tire yesterday, made me late for delivery, and the consignee will not receive on the weekends, so here I am until Monday morning. But if you wanna pull me around just for fun, come on over! This is Iowa, I'm sure they have much dumber ways of killing time!

To the woman who had to back up because I made a text-book buttonhook right hand turn and you had to wait for a red light anyway, so it didn't delay you a single second....you hollered to me, "Learn how to drive!" out the window of your minivan...as I waved "Thank you,"

I would be eternally grateful if you would demonstrate your technique for making that same turn...in my truck. I'm always open to better ideas.

Setting around watching the corn grown is a pastime hobby for most folks up there. Good times on a Sat night.:biggrin_25521:

Finally got back home....drove that worthless POS "for sale" truck down to L.A., then they gave me a truck that was supposed to have been "worked on" (the clutch) in a Super 10....got 33 miles and the bottom range selector (odd numbered gears) would not engage...only top, another mile I was down to 6th and 8th. Not good when I was headed north and over The Grapevine. Pulled it on the shoulder of the ramp (end) of the 605 merging onto WB210. Sat for 2.5 hours waiting for the tow....small world, he turned out to be one of my students many years ago....got back to the terminal and got another truck...13 speed how sweet...but thoroughly trashed and full of trash...well it got me home.....and not in a very good frame of mind!
