At home in Melboring FL waiting to go into work at 0800 this morning. I can only hope I do not sinus surgery again as it requires 1 week UNPAID vacation which I can not afford. 3/4 of my sinuses are plugged up and I am not allergic to anything.

Well, welcome to our little party-line! You'll hear a little gossip, a touch of whining, a fair dose of orneriness, and a whole helping of good folks! Just jump on in, I promise we don't bite! (Well, ok. There's one ot two who're like old dogs laying on the porch; they bark and growl cause they think they're supposed to!
)
Vermillion, SD headed for Omaha. -
sent in micro letting shop know of coolant issue, they called me to explain (macro only allows you to put an "x" in one of three places) i told them it had been using a gallon of water about every 1kmiles, he asked if that was it and if i noticed any other changes such as loss in power or fuel milage, i told him nope, just have to add a gal of coolant every 1kmiles.. he said keep an eye on it... LMAO!!! gotta love the shop.
sorry to inform you of this, but you're not missing much.. the petro didn't even have an Iron Skillet.. and that's the whole reason i stopped there.. ended up walking down the road to the Waffle House, which was ok, but i was hungry again by the time i made it back to my truck.. So i walked back and got three orders of waffles, and then went back.. had a midnight snack, and some breakfast this morning.....
currently sitting behind a Sams Club in Columbia, SC waiting to see if i can unload early so i can head to my final, and wait to see if i can unload early there also.. I have a preplan back to Florida already.. but doesn't deliver till the 24, so if i make it back to Florida quick enough, then i can take it to the HOUSE once again!!!! who's a happy little trucker??

I was refuring to a picture of my house lol.
Yeah that petro only has a crappy under cooked chicken joint.
but there is a walmart, kmart, and lots and lots of choices for food just on the other side of 95.
Left cleveland this morning.
going to alabama
then supposed to grab a load out of Miss-I-Pee-Pee to ga to drop my student and grab another.
Had to teach this one how to slide tandems without a handle to release the pins.
it has the push pull button lol. we dont have many of them so I don't get to show them that very often. even though directions are wrote on the side of the box

jus threw a perfectly good book of cinnamon toast crunch out of my pass. window.. dang hobos walking by got me of skittish.. i had the box to my mouth with my head titled back and the window was blowing.. i thought i saw something move out of the corner of my eye and then all of a sudden a fork lift drove into one of the trailers backed into the dock.. yep there it went, box clean out the window at a mysterious hobo that wasn't even there.. it's a shame actually cause i went out and picked it up and i'm still eating it...lmao..

Sitting in the yard waiting my turn to get into the shop for my A/C. Can't trust Husky to fix it. I called them this morning to talk to the shop manager. Turns out they haven't had one for a few months. Their guy went to Denver and he hasn't been replaced. So it's just a bunch of freelancers for now. Nobody's work is being checked.
That's how my truck was allowed to leave with an air leak twice after the mechanic claimed it had been fixed. It took the Swift guy five minutes yesterday. The International guy tried to fix it by pulling the line out of the quick connect, cutting the end of the line and shoving it back into the same quick connect. Without changing the fitting. Anybody with a lick of sense knows you can't reuse a quick connect. You have to replace it.
Same guy worked on my A/C. No telling what he did there. Another BS shortcut, I'm sure. Can't wait to hear this one. -
This is why I work on all my equipment myself. I know that isn't feasible for everyone, but I just don't trust these so called mechanics that are out there.

Newport News gettin' loaded. The trailer that is!
The quality of mechanics depends on where you go. I've got a list of shops I trust, and those I wouldn't waste the time of day on. There's a lot you can do yourself as well - without towing a thousand pounds of tools around. -
The only shop I will let touch my truck is Kenworth Sales Co in Spokane WA, they have always treated me right and got my truck fixed right up when it was not something I wanted to tackle like rebuilding the transmission.
Also I don't know if he is still there or not, but Rick in the Paint shop is a real swell guy, I had a drunk driver hit my truck when it was parked and he did one hell of a job getting it fixed right for me, I was really happy with their work.
Oh and Kenworth in Dothan Al, I had to have my AG200 rebuilt with the update kit, they took real good care of me as well.
