Im not new to this forum just because I havent posted but onetime. Actually, I have been following this forum since I started my adventure with USA on 08/10 and yes..I am a cdl mill baby!
I just have to say somethings that might or might not clear up some of the information that has been passed along in this forum and trust me, it will probably piss you off!
USA TRUCK like everyother general, otr, dedicated, regional trucking company is all about moving the frieght. This is how, as a company, make money. If you drivers think for one instance your going to change the way USA handles frieght, get a clue!..Cause your not..
The drivers are important to USA because their the ones that make the trucks roll, unless your a cry baby and cant keep your doors shut. Ive seen alot of you people post on here about nothing but negitive. How USA has done nothing for you and I will post after I found another company, just to let you know. I made the right decision for once!..USA doesnt want you either, nor does the company you changed to. Of course they dont know this yet and so didnt USA!..good ridins..
USA plays the numbers game and so does everyone else..Trucking big is a brutal business. 24/7 there is something going wrong..Im not going to list all infractions, but you should know what Im talking about..When the driver cant even take care of the littlest thing, like a headlight. Without screaming at breakdown or their FM or because they cant sleep cause their mattress is to thin or the truck you gave me is dirty..Are some of the little reasons that make up the biggest reason why drivers quit this company and probably will quit the next..
Rather you like it or not..Driving a truck OTR for a big company requires you to be treated like a bottom feeder, no matter who you drive for..Eat sht, smile and drive..Because, thats your job!
USA is a excellent company for someone who wants to work for a company in the long term goal. If you can learn to shut your doors and your mouth when you start with them. Sooner or later they will pay attention and will take care of you, whatever needs you may have..Of course, if thats your goal..!
USA is not perfect, but if you cant roll with the punches, you will be knocked out by someone else..Thats just life!..Btw, for the ones screaming cause they get to many messages on the q-comm..Theres a delete button..learn to use it!
Trainers at USA..Its like anywhere else..It is what it is. Its up to you to learn from his/her mistakes. USA has alot of fine trainers who know whats best for you and who care about what they do. If your the one who got, what you think is a bad one. Please, first thing you should do is show respect, second..Call Carol Spicer..Shes a great listener and will do her best to work with you..
USA is what it is, like anyother trucking company or not trucking company. They leave it up to you to grow with them..EnJoy..I will not respond to reposts...![]()
Ill give credit where credit is due!

I can't stop yawning when I read this.

Well I would post my response to this, but I have already been warned on here before for telling people like it is. So just imagine what it is I should say to you, then multiply that times 10.
Everyone that has complaints, just makes them up, and USA is never to blame...LOL
Sure there are some instances, but I am one of the ones who left USA for greener pastures, and it sure is nice over here in this new field, making twice the money, and dispatch that actually knows how to answer a phone...But what do I know, USA is a spectacular company Mr. Recruiter. -
BTW reading your other 2 posts...One you bash a guy for reading what is posted on here and saying he didn't think USA was a good idea.
Then the other you explain orientation procedures...sounds like an office worker trying to get higher up in the company, and wanna jump on anyone who disagrees with the company he works for...Guess what....They don't care about you either

I like how he failed to mention, DRIVER PAY will not be discussed during orientation. Oh, they'll tell you what you get per mile. The rest is a secret.
Lay over....nope.
Short haul ? WTF is that? Not discussed. BTW, for those of you who want to know. Short haul pay = whatever miles you were dispatched. Nothing more....
Detention...nope.
Hire on bonuses? Yup they'll tell you how much you did NOT qualify for, because of something in your past.
