I had to fuel in that Pilot the other day. An oversized load was having difficulty returning to I40 East. Traffic was stopped for about 10 minutes in all directions, but south. Despite the backup and wait, it was amazingly fast in clearing up once the load had departed. Nice to be around professionals that can handle a little adversity. Cannot understand why that Pilot/Petro in N Tiny Pebbles are always so chaotic.![]()

Dunno if you wanna go to those truck stops, Peg.
They have lots of stuff with peanuts in it there and people eat them, then breathe without consideration of other people's allergies. -
NE Ohio, headed for IA.

I hope that little Mexican is at least cute and reciprocates the favor.
I'm at the yard for the moment. Had to LMAO at one of our L/Os. He's got a gazillion air tabs all the way up his side wings. All of them stuck on backward.07-379Pete Thanks this. -

?? Is there an online dictionary I can use? Huh?
And,I think all "tacos" are kinda cute.

Every time I see a truck with those airtabs, I look to see if they're on correctly (just by their shape and at first glance, you would think that the wrong way would actually be the correct way). I've never seen one, though....

Wilco Hess - White Pine, TN. Gonna go for the Flying J in Carlisle, PA, tomorrow.

Yeah.....its kinda like the time me, you and A/T were in the same truck stop at the same time.
Not know what or who you drive for makes it kinda hard to find ya.
No one knocked on my door either.
Still home kinda thinking about working..................next week.

I have been in both before, ate in the Iron Skillet at the Petro and have been in the Pilot (just not into the eating area in the Pilot). I do know that if I am in a big enough area that I can be there whether or not people are eating peanuts. Most houses (other than maybe houses owned by people like Bill Gates or Brad Pitt or Johnny Depp aka multi-million-dollar multi 10s of thousands square feet houses) are not big enough for me to get far enough away from peanut fumes.
HMMM, as I was scrolling down to the "Submit Reply" button to submit this reply, I saw the Trackback section and it stated "Already pinged: (followed by that site that got a whole bunch of posts in a thread here decimated)". BTW, I am on a desktop computer rather than a cell phone. Just wondering why that happened.Last edited: Oct 5, 2011
