My husband is at the Little Rock Maverick terminal taking his tests to get his own truck. Informed me just before he left for there that "If I get my own truck today and am not given time to get the car back to you, my brother will drive you to the terminal and you can pick it up." So, his brother sees him leaving with the car and without me and asks why James was taking the car (brother is John) without me in it. I said, "Well, he said that if he gets immediately into his own truck that you would drive me to the terminal to get the car." John says, "Well, nice of him to ask ME before he told you that." Me: "Well, only the driver seat had space in it for someone to sit in." John: "Well, I can understand that, but he STILL should have ASKED ME first." Me: "Well, when he told me I had guessed that he was like me and HAD asked the person that he said would help out but I guess I was wrong!"

Yeah. Well, he drove his car home in between tests and for a SMALL lunch break, I get into his car to go to the terminal to get my car (his car not appropriate for me until the weather gets down and stays down below 70* Fahrenheit due to no A/C). We get within about 1/2 mile of the terminal and the transmission starts acting up so he says that next time he drives it home it is STAYING. No problem, I will pick him up/drop him off as needed since if I do decide to go to a movie, it would be at a time when he has zero chance of needing to be picked up aka on a Tuesday or Wednesday or Thursday, anything else, I stay close enough to the house and am in/out of the store fast enough that it would be close to a zero wait for me to get out of there to go pick him up.
