I have been looking at this site for a few months. I have a pre-hire from SWIFT and Prime I have a buddy who loves Prime. I know that I need the experience as a new Company driver which is a better fit for a new driver Swift or Prime. If I go Swift I am looking at the HH Division

I'm new just going out with a mentor 1st thing tomorrow morning. So far everything has been educational and an exsperience. The people that work for Swift in orientation are excelent they are very friendly and polite but get to the point. They answer your questions to the best of there knowledge and if they cannot they get the answer for you. I was coded and set up with a mentor in 2 days. The Mentor called me and we talked a little. I get the impression right off the bat he is a nice guy, I'm going in with an open mind and again he is helping me with my career. I find out that the Mentor has a new truck and a dedicated run and home on the weekends. Tell me this I just hit the lottery it feels like. Home weekends for training that rocks and my mentor is funny lol. So I'm off sometime early am with my mentor tomorrow morning to start my career and learn as much as possible that this guy throws at me. I have had a great exsperience so far and during orientation the hotel was real nice, so swift invested in me all around now it's my turn to invest in Swift which looks like to be a good road to be on.

I too consiered Prime but they didn't like the documentation on my work history, they wanted a 1099 from one job and that wasn't possible even though a fax from them was available that was not good enough. I'm sure both companies have their good and bad. It's pretty much what flavor of BS you prefer. So far I have been happy with Swift, they keep me moving, get me home on time and have had no problems with getting paid so what else can you ask for. I guess one benefit with Swift for you would be if you get on HH you would stay in the NW, would probably make getting home easier since you won't end up out east.

Well, two things are for sure. You MAY not work heavy haul with Swift if you work for Swift, but you WILL not work Swift's heavy haul if you don't work for Swift. So if heavy haul is what you want, go for it.
