    Hi...

And welcome...all those who are balanced and fair...and who don't come with any alterior motives...

But I welcome those who are fair and honest...and secure in their person.

If your secure in your person, you won't take hypathetical issues with others...

You won't hold resentment against people you've never met...

And your aim will be to get along, rather than disrupt..

If that is you than welcome...

Oh what has man done to this world?
Is the industrial age really a better age?

I know more than I have the words for...

Where I live...so many people buy lottery tickets...they buy in lottery tickets daily or weekly, what many earn in salary...

    Why do they do it?

For freedom...that's why...in this world, money buys freedom...

If this is such a great age to be in, why are so many trying to buy their freedom through lottery tickets, through money...what do they want freedom from?

    A mundane meaningless schedual?

    Just asking..pondering...

I don't think people, the common man 'loves money'...I think what everyone loves is freedom...and not everyone wants to be a slave until their 65 years of age to be free....

A life of servitude until your to old to enjoy or do anything...gee wiz what a plan...what a great plan....

Man has screwed every thing up...

Not just America, but man period...

All societies throughout history have always had rulers who impose control over the population...

The type of control that eventually only ends up benifiting a few at the top...
In the end, The west will be no different than the east...
Capitolism will yield the same results as Communism...

In the end, do to the nature of man, all the power and wealth ends up being concentrated at the top....until societies collapse and start over...

After a while, the people at the bottom just loose the incentive to carry on....

Banks decide who prosper and who doesn't...

Even on induvisual levels...so if your poor, lost your job, your home...what chance do you have of getting a loan from the banks to open a business?

None...and that's the age we live in...

The wealthy have access to money...and on this planet money is 'god'...

Man has chosen to make money 'god'...

Without it you can do nothing....
Without it, your worth is zero...zero....

Love and sentiment aside, to the world, if you have no money, your value is zero....

Expecially in a society that has enshrined money...

    Money has become 'god'....

And the whole entirty of the system is 'the beast'....

God often speaks wisdom through 'a mule'...'a donkey'...that one person no one takes seriously...but it comes out anyways...

And in the wierdest places...where no one expects it....

But to those who have ears...listen...money is 'god' (false god)...and is the whole foundation for the Beast, the dragon ect ect...

But of course because I'm not in a auditorium, speaking before a large audience...of course no one will believe it...

But when you do hear it from someone up high...remember ya heard it first here please...that's all I ask...

Anyways..that's a good place to end this post...back soon...

    No!!!
    Who is this guy??

How could they do this? How could they remake Conan the Barbarian?

All they're going to do is mess up a classic movie, a classic Arnold...

There's only one Arnold, one movie Conan...and Arnold fit the bill perfect...

For one his accent and heritage made his portrayal of Conan a lot more
believable and authentic...that Austrian nortctic sway that he had...

The guy above looks like Brandon Lee, even though I know Brandon Lee is deceased...

But when I heard on the radio this morning this movie is to be released on the 22...I was like...:biggrin_2555: nooooo!

Todays directors are only out for money, they lack creativity, so they have to go back, pull out, mess with, and butcher old classics like Conan...

They will butcher this movie the same way they did 'Clash of the Titans' when they remade it as well...

The acting will be bad, the accents will be faked, they will try to appeal to a short attention span generation, therefore quality and story telling will lack....

Conan will have to be politically correct on and on and on...

Oh well...guess there's more pressing things to worry about...

But this is the Conan I'll always remember and cherish...

    Happy Thanksgiving week!!

Shame on me for not giving this thread more of a holiday feel...

    Happy thanksgiving to everyone...

Wherever I find myself on that day...as I look up above...
I will at least know that I always try to be friendly to all...

I don't slice certain people out of my life cause they're this or that...
I try to be open and welcoming to all...that way I don't have to fake it to God...

How can I ever expect God to accept and forgive me, if I can't do so with others?

That's why I usually 'hate' holiday fluff...cause most people fake the sentiment...

In real life, when they have ample opportunity to be nice and kind and all the things the bible says...they do not...and instead just act like a typical bigoted human...

'Oh, I will only choose to love or like certain people'....

Yet will turn to a might god of forgiveness and expect god to recieve them...after being so cruel to others...

Well not me...yes I may be imperfect in the eyes of many on here...but you can't say I'm not friendly and loving and non judgemental...

the only thing I judge people on is motive and intention...

If their motive and intentions are to hurt and decieve, then I steer clear...

Anyhow...to the casual readers...be considerate of all the truck drivers out there...and remember many are trying to get home after being away for weeks...and thank them for delivering your food and turkeys for ya....

    Back in a bit...

    Hello there!!

I went out today...and did something I've never really done before...and that is, electrical work...cool...

I changed out a light...had to shut down circuit breaker, and remove one light fixture and replace with another...

To some that's a piece of cake...but to me, I wasn't sure I could do it till I tried...
    And I didn't get shocked...

It was fun...and gave me a bit of confidence...and confirmed what I already knew...

I need to re-learn a trade...maybe not electrical per say...but I do need to re-learn or re certify in a trade...

I like details now...I like, enjoy, the satisfaction of fixing little things, makeing sure the job is done right, and then moving on to the next challenge...

Long ago I was learning the plumbing trade...and now wish I had stuck with it...

I believe in quality over volume now...
I enjoyed plumbing, service plumbing...every job was different...
I never made it out of the apprentace stage though...stupid me...what was I thinking way back then...if only I had stuck with it...

I'd probably have my own shop by now...a few employees, who knows...
    But that's what I need, a trade...

The trade of trucking, the lifestyle, can never satisfy me no more...
    Not in todays climate...
So I will possibly see about enrolling in a program where I can learn some kind of trade...something that requires skill, precision...that's just where I'm at now...

My pace has slowed...I no longer need to see every single pilot or Flying J under the sun...and be stared at by hairy grouchy males....

Or spend my time in the new SW, where no one speaks at all...and where I feel I'm in a totally different country...sorry, weeks emersed in that just isn't condusive to a healthy life, at least not for me...

I'd rather go back to school, learn a completly different trade, and move on...
if I can still use my CDL on a part time or temp basis...fine...

But even CDL applications are screwed up...all this solid 10 previous employment stuff...
    It's just a headache....
They already know that stuff anyways, already have it on data bases, so why do they torture you, by making you remember times and dates that have become oblivious in your memory...

I'm ready to take on math and science again...i really am...

And I'm ready, and need to rebuild a whole new social foundation...

Cause trucking has left my social life totally empty and void...
    Truckers are just to prejudice....

Unless your from the hills of Kentucky...they just don't like you...
I need to get back into academia....

I need for life to be fun again...
And what makes life fun is challenges, working towards something rewarding...

I've given so much to this industy..and these people just spit on me with there bigotry...

It's a graveyard for me to continue down this trucking path...

For those thinking about getting into trucking...think long and hard...
Your social life will turn into this...expecially if your different...
To fit into trucking you basically have to die, and be reborn as a homoginized grey tone soul...and loose your induvisuality...in order to fit in...

Sorry, but that's just not me...I need to be around the young again, people with ideas, people who celebrate and see value in self expression, who see potential in that, rather than seeing it as a threat to some kind of old guard society....

I'll always be a loving kind soul...but I've definatly landed on the wrong surface here...

Any how...let me get on with the evening...

    Any ball games on?

Good for you my friend - that's awesome....

No offense to all the truckers out there...

But Ghostchild, you could make triple the amount of $$ in trades such as plumbing or electrical than you could in trucking.

I'm not talking crap either. I've know 25 year olds who bust their ##s in trucking, and have a Honda Civic and an apartment; I knew a 25 year old plumber with brand a new Lexus, and a 4 bedroom house in a affluent community and that's no bull...

This is in the northeast too, where the cost of living is astronomical - not Kentucky, where you can pay $500 a month for a 3 bedroom house.

Trucking is a dead end career...

There's a lot of souls, conspirering out there...and it feels real foul...

    The soil is sower...

    It's sower

Like the burial ground in the movie 'Pet Semetery'....

    It's sour....

And I'll just leave it at that...goodnight...

I wish I had started trucking many yrs ago when it was more fun, more freedom, more money... But for me, trucking is a good marriage. :yes2557: I ALWAYS LOVED THE ROAD.... I LOVE THE ROAD!!! :yes2557: So, despite of all the negatives in trucking nowadays, I still love it and don't know what else I would do if it were not trucking.

I am not doing this for the money, I never thought I would like it soooo much. I tried it first and the more I did, the more I felt "in love" with it.:love4: And now I know, this is my REAL PASSION!! Not really or just the truck but the road!! :Road::love5:

Trucking is not for everybody of course not. But for those like me, who love solitude, love life on the road, no ties to family, don't want a home.... this is just PERFECT!!! :yes2557:
