I surprised myself when I remembered what USA's DOT number is haha.

Click THIS LINK to view CSA's Report on USA TRUCK. If that link doesn't work click here and enter the DOT number.

When trucks go in the shop after a driver quits/leaves the company they are automatically turned down to 59 MPH. They will turn them up after a month or so if asked to (and economy meets requirements), if a driver just needs another truck they will turn it up at the shop if asked.

No sense spending a day unhappy. If your have so much heartburn, maybe you should consider talking to someone and addressing your concerns, at least that way you would have some closure?! (perhaps??)

There are people who listen at USA, don't settle for an unsatisfactory explanation. I'm not saying the answer will be what you may (or may not) like, an explanation is not unreasonable.

Are you a current USIT driver?

If you are it seems as though you have a very negative opinion of your employer, it may be time to find your dream job, if the one you currently have is such a nightmare?

I can whine if I want to. But Im glad other people are doing well. These people in the office are trained not to even pick up the phones. Its like arguing with a fence post.

BearFunky your way off base with your statement.I dont think anyone is out to get anyone.I asked where to get the info because i did not know.I see the areas they are low ,Hos and driver fitness. Those are both ultimately the drivers responsibility.I a driver runs illegal they choose to do so.Its up to the company to weed those at that continue to do so and get caught at it.Like i stated before i get green light on pre pass 9 out of 10 times and only one dot inspection all year which i passed 100 percent. So their score cant be all that bad or i would be targeted more i would think

I agree with goodchoice if you have a negative opinion about who you work for then get a better job.its really not that hard or complicated thousands of trucking companies out there

From a 4 wheeler perspective I would like to see trucks at least close to the posted limit for trucks on the interstate. I do a lot of work out in Arizona and the speed limit is 75 (I run 80) and trucks 65. At 75 the closure rate is pretty fast and this goes back to judgment of all drivers ya know. Big trucks have as much right to run as I do and I am normally very mindful and give a driver a break to pull out if I know they can pass the other driver. I have witnessed a few drivers who IMHO had no business pulling out because they never pulled ahead and it just backed the left lane up. he couldn't slow up and get back in line because all the realestate was used up. I think the other driver slowed up as I recall. I just know the CB was livid with drivers raising hell.

I've been out west in the middle of the night and been passed by 5 trucks nose to tail running hot, and those drivers were paying the fuel and it was fun allowing them to have the front door.

I am not a Professional driver so I don't know all the drama you all have to deal with. Humbly I will say I believe it is better to have a job then being stuck on the couch looking for work and this goes for me too. I live out of a suitcase and I spend months from home. But I also stay at home months to make up my away time unlike you drivers.

I can't speak for that driver.

But one of my best friends recently started with USA. He stepped into a truck governed at 59 mph....out of the gate.

That said. He's getting good miles most of the time.
