I haven't seen a uniformed OTR driver in years. There is something to be said about a man in a color coordinated uniform, with a captains hat and creased trousers and shiny boots. It is the epitome of a professional image. I suspect it does not matter, but perhaps trucking companies can use the uniform as an effective recruiting gimmick?
Any company require drivers to wear uniforms?

Dont walmart drivers wear some type of uniform? A company shirt at least?

Walmart, Fedx,UPS but they are reagional or local. using uniforms as a way to get recruits yeah right a good way to get people to stay away no1 wants to put on a uniform and look like the other dufus in the white truck. So you like looking and men in uniform I hope your a woman.

Im not over the road, more like regional, but I have to wear a monkey suit (brown pants, gray UPS Freight button up tucked in, UPS belt, and steel polished boots.

I see most of these Schneider drivers in the Operating Centers all decked out and looking like clowns in their Schneider gear...
Strange when I see the same drivers somewhere else, they are wearing flip flops and looking like slobs.....
