Trucking Jobs in 30 seconds
Every month 400 people find a job with the help of TruckersReport.

SS, let me know if you need a Sergeant of Arms when you take over.

It depends on how high the family is connected... I many need bodyguards. Seriously, I wouldn't want to work anywhere near the management with this company. Depending on what's going on with this b.s. about the logs...I may be a distant memory(or nightmare depending on which side you see it from). All this is taking it's toll on my desire to run anywhere near productive. I just need to make it through until the end of next month when I become a Grandpa again...after that....who knows. I may just ditch trucking, take my profit sharing and pay off some bills, and become a normal person again...Instant promotion, from third class citizen to normal citizen in one day.rachi Thanks this.

more like hoping, not planning...with the government...I have lost all hope
Old MP Thanks this. -
Well, with the proposed budget from the current administration your gonna lose a lot more than hope to the government. All 52% of the current US taxpayers will pay more taxes. The 48% that ain't paying squat.........continued unemployment checks, food stamps, and medicaid, gov't subsidized or provided housing, free cell phones, etc........The budget proposed requires another trillon to borrow to help fund these cradle to grave programs that enable a lot of lazy folks to be lazy folks. Only in America does the poor have an obesity problem and a huge flat screen to watch while they get that way.

Write a letter to the FMCSA office in your home state about your position on e-logging. I had good luck doing this when I lived in Texas. That way when they respond, you will have a paper trail. The State office is authorized to give a binding answer. Call the State office and find out who the POC would be in the office to direct your question to. You should receive a reply in a timely manner. If you do not receive a reply in a reasonable time, write them again. If you still don't receive an answer, mail a copy of your 1st two letters to the National FMCSA office and mention that you may need to contact your Legislators if you can not get an answer. Good luck.

So I see this thread has finally slowed down. I am in orientation in New Kingstown, Pa. So far so good.
-
I just left there earlier today. Came off home time and am now on a 1400 mile run to OK

Every thread has it's slow times. People are working for the boss or working for the home boss on home time.....
