it's FREE, takes a good week to get the letter.
Man, USA Truck was fair, except the part about "quit under dispatch", I had no MT trailer to drop at shipper, they said wait for empty at Dick's Sporting goods in Pittsburgh. Should have just went to pick up load and not dropped MT trailer...
Also says "won't rehire", I knew that, tried once on phone...
Hope USA reads this, they send you a letter when you quit asking "why?".

Thanks for the link, I just used it. I quit last year, but I was on hometime already.
I'm still interested to see what's on the report, though. -
Thanks for the Link, I hope things work out for you.

Yea, now they want you under a load on hometime. That way if you quit while on hometime, it will be under a load. I waited until vacation. I scrubbed the truck down with 409. It was real clean inside. Took pictures. Then I called them and told them I was turning it in. That's the only way you won't be under a load (on vacation). That's the way they did me anyway.

Thats the best way to go, good idea with the pictures. I plan on taking pictures when I get my truck for any pre-exsting damage and issues. You got to keep the honest man honest. Good luck I hope find something that makes you happy.

I cleaned the truck I turned in a little bit. It was pretty bad when I got it and I only kept it for 2 days. I also quit on vacation, but I also only went home under a load once.
I didn't like going home on a load because if it was raining I would sink when trying to back into the driveway as I had to go through the yard in order to back up, unless I wanted to blindside.
I also bobtailed home a few times. I would drop my loaded trailer at the ABF yard in Cleveland and would bobtail back up there for an empty.
I didn't call them when I went on vacation. After about 10 days they gave me a ring (was still in Canada) and asked me why I wasn't in the truck. I said I was in Canada... They asked if I could be in the truck tomorrow... I said no... They asked why?... I said I quit and then she went on about how unprofessional that was and that she always tried to keep me happy and yadda yadda... I said I appreciated her efforts, the truck is at the Vandalia yard along the fence across the shop with the keys in it, good bye.
Didn't hear another word from USA, got my last few paychecks, including a few weeks of getting reimbursed for scales.
And must people bring back threads from the grave? lol.
