It will be absolutely amazing, when I am done here at usa, that I will still be on here sayin I know exactly what goes on at usa truck after 6 months of not working here. It is absolutely pathetic that a guy who left a company hangs out in a chatroom for that companies drivers. Must be something about trying to feel important.

I know one thing about Forest Park shocked me. They are firing people as fast as they are hiring them. I've seen 3 drivers get fired in the last two days. One was a guy who had his wife riding with him. Safety routed him in for whatever reason but according to him he was fired for not scanning in 11 days worth of logs. All of us in the lounge called bs on that after he said that he had all the receipts to prove it. Him and his wife got kicked off the property today though. It was funny because they had slept in the lounge last night and this morning she was bad mouthing everybody and telling the students how her husband got screwed over. Well he had said he wasn't leaving until they were given bus tickets. Guess that didn't happen because they were escorted out the gate with all their stuff.

A student got fired also today. Came in with a trainer and was dropped off. Something about background issues. Also another driver who was routed there for what he was told were "maintenance issues" then fired by safety. He was ranting about how he had been cowardly lied to and was now stuck a state away from home and his wife had to come get him.

Don't know what's up but I've never seen that many people in a row get fired at the same terminal. My FM did tell me a few days ago that safety is really cracking down on logging issues and that our group had a new policy that if your Mac 5 (daily hours update) wasn't in by 1000 each morning, you got 1 warning and second time was a write up.

Any user of this forum may do or say whatever they want as long as it complies with the forum rules. Everyone may state their opinion, which is what most of the posts are on here. That is unless there is a verifiable link or reference to make the users statement a fact. Now when you start attacking a user or a group for stating their opinion then that is when it starts to cross the line (for me anyways). If you cannot handle someone's opinion perhaps you should close the tab/browser/laptop and go to bed to get ready for your next day.

No, I can handle the truth, but you guys who are not employed at this company anymore can not speak on the truth. You think you know what is going on, but you have no clue.
I respect what chemsoldier says, b/c he still works here.
You guys come on here and act like you know what goes on, and you have no clue.

Xrayman says one of my posts was pure bull, but amazingly he didnt say which one. I await to here which one. Because I dont post stuff on here about whats goin on in the unless I have a reliable resource.

Because that post got quoted I saw it. I will be the first to agree I don't have first hand knowledge of the goings on at USA Truck. However it's important to remember that fantastic device invented by Alexander Graham Bell, it's called a telephone. I used such device to call someone there in management to verify something posted in here. They could not do so I then gave them a link via email to the posting in question. As to me posting in here , I'll ignore that ignorant remark.

I don't know if you have a problem with me or not, but I don't care either way as I will continue to post here as long as I would like. I am entitled to my opinion and I enjoy reading and commenting on peoples stories and helping them out when I can. I don't think I've came in here saying I know this or that in any of my posts. Especially when most of my posts are talking about my own experience, giving my opinions, or saying how I think things were.

USA Truck has to get tough on this stuff. I lost count of the drivers I spoke to while driving there that thought the HOS laws were just a suggestion and told me they had to violate them because they could not make money running legal. I remember watching a trainer show 2 students under the smoking cover in Vandalia how to cheat. I have also seen trainers at my current company do the same. Last time I checked their CSA 2010 HOS Basic score was 63.9% and exceeded the threshold for that basic. My company has a high score there as well. However I have a serious doubt these scores will improve till USA Truck goes to paperless logs. Same with a lot of the other carriers too.
