How long do you normally stay out? What is the hometime when you get there?

    Thanks.

We drivers that get home weekly while others stay out weeks at a time. It depends on where you live. There are outbound runs everyday going to almost any place in the country. It is up to the driver to communicate with outbound dispatch their desire to get home & dispatch will do their best to set a trip up to get them home.

I hope they don't run out of available spots for north FL drivers before the end of March. I'll be putting in my application while I'm on vacation when my new grandson arrives next month(if he isn't like his grandpa and arrives before his appointment time). Jdzr...pm me your truck number, or what other info Poly needs for a referal, you've convinced me to make the move for the most part...it's just a timing thing now.

FYI, the post I put on this thread is for information purposes only. It is not my intent to actively recruit any one to work for Poly-Trucking. However, I will not stop anyone from using me as a reference.

After all the posts on everrtruckers 'Crete' thread you've done, it's just that I have a lot of respect for your opinions..and since I am also a former O/O...we have traveled many of the same chuck-hole filled roads... You're opinions and experience so far at Poly sounds like a better future than where I am headed here...just want to give credit where credit is due since we both have Crete experience to compare Poly to.

Does Poly allow pets, and do they have APU's? If no APU's, what is their idle policy? And what speed are the trucks governed? Thanks.

They have a strict NO PET Policy. All trucks are equipt with APUs, however some of the Pro Stars have thr battery pack type. The new Pro Stars are equipt with DYNATECH (I think) APUs, I.e. like Thermo King/Carrier. There is no policy to control engine idle time & trucks are governed at 68mph.

Who's their health insurance through, and is it the usual 90 day waiting period before it starts?
