    I would feel confident behind the wheel of a truck after so long out of it...except for the parallel parking thing I've heard about. Back when I drove, that wasn't part of the driving test and I've read somewhere that it's a part of it now. I never had the need to parallel park a tractor trailer and never had I tried it, either. Like I said...that's the only part that worries me.
    Other than that...I'm ready.

    It's not that bad.. I was out for 20+ years and came back. They allow you to pull up twice and get out and look as well. I was not sure I could do it either... turns out I parked it like a 4 wheeler.. "no pull up but I did get out and look to see where I was at once".

    yea I had to parallel park to pass the cdl test in Texas. That part wasn't bad.

    So I finally got my cdl, but it is still hard to find places that can work around my license suspension and no recent experience.

    I have a job waiting on me if I can get the CDL done. It won't wait forever, though.
