Just bought a truck and want to haul my Harley on the back. Looking for a standard turning clearance from center of 5th wheel to figure out if I have enough room for bike. I will be hauling refer trailers. Truck is a 2007 kenworth T2000 with a long frame.
Refer swing clearance

In all the years i have never seen a harley stashed behind a sleeper.
I have seen a scooter tho. I would say its not going to fit.
and ifyou did get it to fit you probably will have to drop the trailer to get it off. -
I have seen a bike fit before, it was on a W9. He was pulling a 48' reefer, had the air/electrical to come out behind the bike cradle

I would'nt chance brining a bike with me on the road.Besides with all the miles you'll be driving when you going to find time for your bike, lol.

Want a real world number that will allow me to hook to most trailers as I do not own one.
Here is how I will get bike up there. Www.rampagelift.com
Will build dog house to go over bike. -
Might fit if it's a sportster... What are you going to do if you have to slide the 5th wheel to scale a load?
Ever thought about hanging it on the front of the truck? -
It's a fatboy. 38" at it's widest point.
Have 100" from brackets on back of cab to center of 5th wheel hole. 5th wheel can go back 4 1/2" from it's current daily working point. Think this might just work!
Little concered about weight. Bike and lift will be right at 1,000 lbs.
I have 300 gallon fuel capacity. On the occasional load where I need that 1,000 lbs I could alway run a little light on fuel. As long as I can get close to 12,000 lbs on front I should be good.
Anyone know what moving the 5th wheel back 4 1/2" will do?
Seems to me it might even things out nicely with the additional weight of bike but not sure. -
any pics of bikes on the back of sleepers? always wanted to see that

Must have a lot of free time on your hands ! I've seen it done several times through the years and have always had the same thought.

I've seen it on long wheelbase OTR trucks hauling vans, but not reefers. I'd be worried about the clearance when at unusual angles and attitudes. That, and a hundred other variables. Good luck, where there is a will, there is a way.
