    I'm baffled by the reaction I see by other women when they come into a public bathroom and see me brushing my teeth or washing my face. Half the time they're are in such a hurry to get out of there, they don't even wash their hands. I've seen a mom leading her child into the bathroom only to quickly turn around and walk out when they see me brushing my teeth. I don't get it, you'd think they'd have walked in on me naked the way they act, like I'm homeless. Anybody else notice this phenomenon?

    Over the years I have had this happen to me too.I don't understand it either.But after awhile it didn't bother me,we have to do what we have to do and the opinion of those who don't understand is of no consequence.Just smile at them with those pearly whites and go on to have a good day.

    Hey atleast you brush! One thing that always puzzled me though, were the folks bird bathing in the public restroom sinks.:biggrin_25516: Get a shower ticket for that.

    worst I have seen is a somali in the public restroom in a public library in St Cloud MN.

    My husband was telling me about guys taking basically a shower in a restroom. Now that is awkward and nasty, but to be treated like a leper for brushing yout teeth and washing your face blows me away.

    Most likely because they have the privacy at home and do not comprehend that they are in a truckstop and this is your bathroom.
