My wife and I are seriously thinking about working for Barr-Nunn and would like to know how they treat husband/wife teams. Do you get decent miles and good home time? Where do they run the most? Would appreciate some feedback. Thanks.
How do husband/wife teams like Barr-Nunn?

Hey bluebyewetoo. My husband and I run team, although not for Barr-Nunn. We have a neighbor a few doors down back home. When I spoke with him last, he was thinking of getting his wife you run with him. When I get home I'll ask him what he has learned. I know as a solo driver, he is very happy with Barr-Nunn and gets home every few weeks to be with his family. Very nice people. It will be a few weeks, but I will ask and post to give you some feedback. -
I'm also thinking about Barr Nunn what have you found out? I was reading that they do new 2012/2013 lease purchases and that is my goal. My boyfriend and I want to run. Please let me know what you have discover so I don't waste anymore time. I did a lease purchase with Hoosiers Tradewinds and it was a night mare. worked three weeks and only had 823.00
deposited into my account. He sure pulled in the money. -
Wanted to touch base with you blubyewetoo. Tried on two separate occassions to speak with our Barr Nunn neighbors. Our ships keep missing each other. Did you ever find out the answers to your questions?

Wanted to follow up on this... I did get to speak to the neighbor's wife. She decided not to get her CDL and just go along as a rider. But she did say that her husband is doing well solo and he can take any member of his family with him on the truck.

Thanks for checking. I have not found out anything yet.

A friend is going to orientation on Monday! They told him starting out CPM is .41 and he'll be running SE to SW only.

You are welcome! We have their teenage son mow for us biweekly to keep the neighbors happy while we are away for 7 week intervals. REALLY nice Christian family. They practice what they preach. I trust their info.

Any updated news on how this company is keeping a driver rolling.
