Keep up the good work. The company needs good drivers like you. I did speak to a recent USA Truck driver at the TA in Richmond Hills Georgia last night. Was just out of orientation with their new company. Nothing really new or earth shaking listening to their comments. Miles issue plus according to them the load planners at Van Buren are idiots and their dispatching made no sense. I did hear the other day that David Hartline left because he got tired of trying to make the changes needed for the company to grow and always have Cliff Beckham overriding him. The truck governors is a case in point. I don't know if any of this is true because I don't trust that source, but it does make some sense.

Here's a new one for you USA Truckers....you lost the Honda account! One of the 2 (horrible) trainers I had there was a dedicated Honda guy....posted that they lost the account and was
upset about the loss....I just told him to go smoke more meth and get a life! haha -
I'm still hearing the company is in trouble with Michelin and Toyota(Ryder) too. I don't think it's from bad service as much as it's from being undercut. The parent company of my carrier has lost some accounts because of this. I guess with the economy in the current shape it's in you can't blame these companies because they are trying to save some money.

Well I just got an interesting call today. It seems I have a new fm and a new fleet. I was told my old fm is no longer there. Lol, he was there yesterday. I don't know what happened but now I'm in fleet 42 and my fm is Jennifer.

Hey all read this whole thread my hats off to the new drivers! I have been with USA truck for almost 2 years went through C1 in Indy then orrention in Van buren ar thats when it was monday through Thursday then off to the rat trap motel i was lucky i was there only a day got my trainer the next day! I was his first student! was on his truck for 9 days then went to Georgetown KY to meet my second trainer! Did not like him at first but the way he did things taught me a lesson that i carry with me today! Got done with him headed to Vanburn to up grade we were the 2nd class to go through the new up grade this was end of Sept 2010. Passed my upgrade but still having trouble backing due to not backing enough well being trained! Was sent home for 5 days then bussed to Spartinsburg to get my first truck truck number 8899 9400I 10 speed had about 489000 on it! Guess i was lucky to have a 10 speed not a auto! Can still remember my first load to this day Pick up in Cows Pen to outside of philly 6 rolls of paper very heavy load! got it there now remind u my backing sucked took me 20 mins to get it in the dock but got it there! Well my truck keeped breaking down every week my old FM was alright to begin with giving me miles all i wanted but paid a toll untill saftey got word just by one missed fuel stop! Then the ###### Hit the fan but still i portected my FM took the blame but refussed to do anymore things illeagle again! So I sat and sat 600-1000 miles aweek until i could not afford to be out there any longer turned in my truck and left took a local job. 2 weeks later got a call from Van buren telling me that my old FM was let go Blah blah blah how sorry they were as to what happened to me wanted me to come back! So i did Aug 3rd 2011 my FM now is ok at times! I did try the trainning route for about 4 months both phases 1 and 2 it took me till Dec to say enough of that no miles sitting i was done not only with trainning but with usa! Was told to take a week off and think about it! I came back got a new 2012 freightliner with 14000 on it! Ok my only complant would be that I am in West Virginia everytime it comes to home time they send me the otherway ok fine this lastime I was out almost 6 weeks I was keeped up in the North east for 4 weeks finally complained to my FMs boss why i was keeped up there for that long no miles best week 1700 miles every weekend doing a 34 hour restart I told him enough of the BS get me miles he did a trip to Laredo TX ok have not seen Laredo in a year then home after that I though! took a load to VA MT Crawford then got a call from weekend dispatch saying i needed to take a load off one of her drivers that had a appt he needed to get to fine it was going to Ohio then i could get home! I meet the driver well after talking to him he told me that if he kept the load he would not be able to have a full 3 days home i said thought u had a important appt he said no he been out 2 1/2 weeks wanted to go home but if he had that load could only be home 1 1/2 days booo hooo then the real kicker he has only been on his own for 2 1/2 weeks new driver i have been out almost 6 weeks got the load called dispatched asked to speak to the fm who called me oh they would not let me speak to her I was Pissed off! So I went on my way waited till monday spoked to my FM and delivered and went home for 6 days! It has been a long rough road with USA but i see things as think god i have a job most comapnies are the same as usa yes I am looking for another company but want to make the right choice not jump at the first company and go straight into the fire! The only adivse i can give is do not be a butt kisser stand up for ur self when u know u are being treated like crap do ur job always always keep in touch with ur FM if ur gonna be late or need something yes there are good and bad fms if u do ur job right then hey ur on ur way! Thanks for letting me rant
