i just finished the school today and i brought my diploma but they never asked for it , the only out of pocket money you need is the 70 for the dps , and your food and cigarettes , i dont know if they check that over at lancaster or not -- the birth certificate is for the dps --- dont take my road test till tuesday-- then a couple of days at orientation--- and hopefully on the road thursday or getting paid to sit at the motel like cabwrecker got lol -- tommrow sounds like pretty much of a waste day

 

That is good to know. I think I will take mine with me anyway just in case. I would hate to get there and they ask for it and I don't have it.

 

my girlfriend is going to be here on the 14th --- wish we could have went through it together but we had to come up with a plan b so it might be awhile before we see each other -- but if this plan works out we should be teaming up middle of september --- hope it works because we havent thought of a plan c yet

I would be interested in a learning opportunity with a skilled instructor. I have a Class B with experience in a straight truck reefer. I am looking to upgrade to a Class A. I live in Chicagoland. IL is ridiculous about out-of-state CDL schools. It might be easier to work with a mentor than to find a school that 1) I can afford and 2) Illinois will recognize. Please let me know of your interest and availability. Thank you.

 

Sitting here ain't as much fun as it sounds. The food is pricey, the smokes are out of date and pricey.
Can't drink, can't do much of anything other than watch all 20 channels of TV because the wifi sucks.

Not even kidding when I say I played 20+ hands of solitary with myself yesterday alone.
The two meals a day you have to pay for run at around $25 with gratuity...I want my ###### trainer...which is in new jersey till Thursday...

 

welcome too the real world of trucking cabwrecker, meaning turn this around,, meaning fast foward a year, now your sitting at a freightliner dealership , your truck broke till thur's, now use this as a example as too practice your wait times on such stuff, stuff like this happen's al the time in the trucking world, get out look around , see what there is too do, go for walk's , that what i do,i even walked down too the local pool hall one day , while my truck was down for a week, yes it suck's playing by yourself , but on the other hand being bored is too

 

how is the rest of your class doing getting on with a trainor cabwrecker -- we have 21 coming over in the next 2 days -- so it sounds like we might be waiting for awhile --- they only have 9 in the class that started today --- we have 13 that take the cdl test tommrow that may explain why only 4 test today -- cheaper to keep us here
