    Teddy_Bear,
Was just up in your neck of the woods. Took a load of wheat from Stickney, KS http://goo.gl/maps/u0lA(find that on a map) to Hanson-Mueller elevator in KCMO. Oh nope didn't melt, had both a/c running on full, and idled from 2:30pm yesterday until I left Lyons at 7am. There's several of us company drivers that are having big problems with what the dispatcher has been doing. He acts like he's GOD, had little regard for what his dispatching costs, and you don't dare question him or you get real sh#t loads. Boss/owner is too busy with his farm to see what's happening.

Back home now for the weekend. Will not be able to load again until 7am Monday, then I'll be headed back to Great Bend. Yippee, can't wait.... for all that stop-n-go construction on US-56.

I was in Galveston this morning. Then to the one place I'd NEVER go to again if I could choose just one....

Then around the airport. And it got the usual hurry up right at 16:00.

    Drug in home 20:45

So the story I got that has me roped into another one was this guy is having reefer problems, so go swap your trailer with his. Fine... means I'll get paid for my deadhead. Run up to Jessup from Salisbury MD, and do the swap. Sure enough, the reefer is not happy with life. Talk to road assist... oh, by the way, did we mention you need to figure out what to do with that POS trailer? Carrier is locked-up for the weekend.

    Great. :biggrin_25510:

Jessup MD, at the pit that is the TA.

MAKES NO SENSE...you are a L/O right, I assume he is too....why not put his assignment on you and let him babysit the weekend to get the refer repaired?

Hope you got a decent downtime pay for that!

At the pilot in woodhull, il. Batteries died in my truck so I have to wait until the owner wakes up so he can have someone come and jump start!! *Sigh*
