Just submitted my yesterday (Sun 8-5), I called in and they told me a recruiter I was assigned already. I called today Mon 8-6) and left a vmail. A couple questions:
    1) How long until my recruiter contacts me and can I expect to hear if my application is approved?
    2) I've been reading through many forums and getting an idea of what to expect and how I should be preparing, namely studying up on the CDL and possibly getting a permit before training in Springfield starts. I'm in CA, so should I be studying my state handbook or dl the MO handbook to study? Should I also take the permit test here in CA or wait to take it in Springfield? P.S. I downloaded a PDF of CA CDL handbook and there are many sections for school buses and tankers, I'm guessing I should emphasize on the general, braking, combo vehicle sections most?

Thanks in advance for any responses or advice.

    1) Shouldnt take too long to verify a few things. Not sure on exact timetable though.
    2) Best to get your permit BEFORE coming to orientation. Less stress on you, plus gives you more time for getting your sims done. Only sections you need to get started are: Airbrakes, Combination, and General Knowledge.

    Good luck to ya!!!

Hey dreamer, one more? Came to mind. When I go into my DMV to take the test, The CDL test would be for a class A or just CDL? Sorry, I'm an extreme newbie, even at this level. Lol. Thanks again.

That you would have to ask a recruiter. Things change weekly around here.

The only written tests are those for the permit. The tests for the license are all hands on. (pretrip, backing, road)
