Hey Smaggs if you're in Pittsburgh now you should be able to get in to soemthing local, P&D, or running tri-axle. You'd be suprised how well they pay for tri axle guys here, it's not rare to see 18$ an hour to start. Not exactly sure where you're located in Pitt, but McCylmonds in Portersville seems like a pretty good outfit with good pay and good equipment.

I might be angry right now, but I won't use the bottom bunk as a urinal and I definitely won't use the top as toilet paper.

I was told by Marten that the driver who left that truck was on "emergency medical leave". Then I read the qualcomm messages in that pee truck. He failed the last 5-10 loads he did and kept leaving himself on line 4. he always flirted with the girl on the other end of his messages and would always claim to be out of hours. He was also stupid enough to leave his payroll on there. He only took home about 600 bucks a month, because he'd leave himself on line 4 and just sit wherever. He obviously didn't want to work, or was just plain stupid and couldn't figure out why he wasn't getting miles.

If I had a truck that was safe, I'd get miles. My FM keeps giving me great pre plans with plenty of miles on them, but I can't accept them, because of the issues with this out-of-warranty truck.

Pardon me. I just woke up. But instead of whizzing and pooping in my truck, I will get dressed and head inside to use a toilet.

You do know that 90% of all DOT numbers consist of companies with ONE truck? Large companies SUCK to work for.

as usuall your wrong...not only for the reasons posted by other members but because there are tons of companys that refuse to grow...EX: KEEN Transportation REFUESED to grow, the told there BIGGEST customer CAT....NO! so they sold out instead of destroying there company for a stupid customer. My advice stick to talking about what you know about..slow trucks, low pay, e-logs etc

Umm BIG differance in OTR Bottom Feeder and a LOCAL LTL Bottom feeder...you have to live in your POS truck, i only spend 7-8 hrs a day in mine...and w/s pays $45,000-$50,000 FIRST YEAR out of school....so i dont see your problem as thats higher then 98% of newbie companys. I gotta go, going out with my other half, but you have fun twiddleing your thumbs in the truck all day....peace bra!

I hardly live in.my truck. I get my weekends home and usually 2 nights minimum during the week. Hardly living in it.

You can justify local all you want. Still a bottom feeder that you chose to work for after saying you wouldn't. You can paint it whatever color you want, throw as much febreeze as you want on it, it's still a pile of feces

Oh, what's this... And that's the raised scale...
