I dropped load in GA got a load outta TN going to AR for another p/u then to OK for delivery might have to drop at yard because load is a possible Monday delivery and my DM didn't want me sitting so the yard is only a few miles from consignee so local driver will get it and I get the miles!!!
I'm sitting in parking lot of first p/u now going to look for drain plug for condensation from APU under bunk since it likes to make a lake under there.
I'm going to take everything out and find source and fix it ain't real busy anyways.

Trucks are 2010 and up KW T660's and Pete 386's. They buy 50 trucks every 6 months. With a fleet of around 350 trucks, they are cycling the fleet every 3 1/2 years. All of the trucks are o/o spec, so no top bunk but plenty of room and gobs of storage...except the team trucks which do have the top bunk. I got a 2012 386 with 91000 miles on it. My truck came with a Tri Pac apu on it which doesn't have an inverter installed, but they are few and far between here since 98% of the trucks have Carrier apu's and come with a wall outlet. No biggie though because the shop will install your own inverter free of charge (i.e: you buy the inverter, they install it...1500w max.) Honestly, I prefer to have them install the inverter. Unlike the wall outlet (which only works when the apu is running,) I have shore power all the time. Anyways enough about that.
The reefers are Carrier, and the trailers are all less than 5 years old. Freymiller does a lot of intermodal, so there are plenty of trailers. No super-singles for the trucks or trailers, and very few side skirts. They are a mix of Utility 3000R's and Great Danes.
The staff here is amazing. Everybody is quick to help the drivers in any way they can. The Freymillers are regularly walking around the yard visiting with drivers...unlike other companies whose owners are hiding in their office behind bullet proof glass. I am currently on a load from Arkansas City, KS to Miami, FL. I'll spend a couple of days at the casa, and then off again.Bigdubber and ghettochild Thank this. -

Oh yeah I have a separate 1000w inverter for back up which may come in handy sometime they will sell you a factory fridge also weekly deduct saves me a lot of money.Runnin Thanks this. -
Wow! Sounds like a pretty professional operation they got there. Also sounds like they are SERIOUS about moving freight and keeping drivers satisfied (which translates to reliable service for customers).
What a concept, eh?
Bigdubber Thanks this. -
Looking forward to starting there. Just a couple more days left. I fly to Oklahoma City Sunday for orientation on Monday. By keeping freight moving they also keep their drivers moving which means happier drivers since we don't get paid for sitting & waiting for loads. That means happier drivers which means lower turnover. Drivers can actually make a living and support their families there from the sounds of it.
Jarhed1964 Thanks this. -
One more day bro!!! I went from GA to TN TN to OK OK to TX TX to CO will be going from CO to KS KS to NE NE to ? 2650 for Monday with all the deadhead

Keep rolling that clock fellers!! If you use up your hours by weeks end you did something wrong or had one tight load!!!
