Here is a great plan for everybody. Do the job you were hired to do. Drive the truck and carry your freight safely and on schedule. That's what I do every single day. I'm not going to spend time worrying about what market analysts think (or might think) because it's outside of my realm of control. I can't add a single hour to my life by worrying about when I'll die. Nor can I add a single day of operation to this company by fretting or speculating about it. If the end comes I'll drive as far as I legally can and then truck stop sell everything I can't carry. After that, home is just a grey dog away. I'm not too worried about folding because they are continually adding new tractors to the fleet and I personally have ferried several new trailers from Great Dane yards. One of the yards had well over a 100 new ones with our livery just waiting for pickup. Denton terminal just finished expanding, and Carlisle has belly dumps, dump trucks, and graders coming in to resurface. If we are about to go teats up, I sure can't tell. Cliff may not be a trucking wizard but he must have something up his sleeve that we don't know about to keep investing.

Thinking that things will work out, is just plain foolishness !!
Why put YOUR financial well-being on the line.
I'd find a new job now,
instead of waiting until December 24th !!!! -
Im not buying all this doom and gloom nonsense. I was reading about the downfall of arrow (from a link posted in this thread) and one of the stories describes how arrow at the time couldn't afford to pay its bills. Fuel, mechanics or anything BEFORE it shut down.
Usa is still buying trucks and trailers, it gave all the people -1 years exp a raise, the guaranteed $600 a week thing for new hires.truckers-wife Thanks this. -
Best of Luck...........

Yep, they sure are! And borrowing money from the bank to finance them. This credit line has run OUT because they are out of compliance with their credit covenants and the company already has paid a $100,000 penalty because of it, with another $300,000 penalty coming up in a few short weeks. -
