they're probably torex bolts too, aren't they? or screws.

and fog lights do nothing but light the fog up more. thus blinding you even further.

The Volvo headlights suck period. Their weak and the adjustment isn't the problem. Not only that they glaze on the inside over time. As for fog lights, turn your headlights off sometime and keep your fog lights on. More than likely their useless as driving lights and all your doing is demonstrating to the world that you refuse to acknowledge that there are other people in the world.

Some aftermarket lights are bright but all factory fog lights emit a light pattern that is not suitable for driving. Its a broad flooding spectrum of light for penetrating fog. When you pass me on a clear night with your stupid fog lights on, I will let you know when your clear, so put your sunglasses on.

Dna Match i wouldn't recommend you do that to me or you may find out just how bright well adjusted low beams, high beams, fog lights and driving lights are on a volvo when they are ALL ON at the same time...

i run my foglights when i want to but not all the time rain, fog or a clear night. they light up the side of the road better than the headlights do.... deer, ppl walking ect, they are adjuested and legal.

as to turning off the headlights and running the foglights only you know nothing about a volvo YOU CAN'T DO THAT..... the headlight switch goes off, parking, headlight, headlight + foglight. high beam switch changes low beam to high beam or low beam + foglight to high beam or if the trucks has it (mine does) low beam + foglight to high beam + driving lights

snowwy they are torex bolts but a 1/4 socket will work on them

if they would repaint the lines on the roads more often ,I might not have to turn on my (VOLVO) fog lights when it rains or at night.
turning the high beam fog lites on is sure to give you a sun burn !!lol.(yes,m I have 2 sets of driving/fog lites)

and snowyy, lite the fog up more ??:biggrin_2556:. WTF, you smokin'?

I'm driving an '07 Volvo, and the only time I need my fog lights is when it is foggy. But I have polished my headlight lenses once, and it made a world of difference.

I just think that there are too many not too bright drivers that need all the help they can get, and unfortunately those dimwits are blinding the rest of us!

Here's a thought: If you can't see at night, perhaps you shouldn't be driving at night? I've yet to run into a situation where my low beams didn't sufficiently light my path...and I run a lot of 2-lanes. Out there on the big road, high beams are even less necessary.

Drove a 670 had no issues seeing with the headlights. You don't NEED them! I don't see why guys can't be respectful and turn the fog lights off until we pass and move in front. Run them like you would high beams. Volvos and cadcadias are the worst! Prime drivers must not have an off switch. Hell at 55 mph fog lights aren't needed! The Volvos foglights always seem mis adjusted or bouncing around in my mirror. Cascadias have super bright headlights in the first place. These morons that buy the super brighter headlights and foglights really irritate me when they run both!

Seems like every truck and car on the road has fog lights on 24/7 anymore.

you might want to reconsider that smoking crack comment. if you can't think about it for a second.

it was in the local news couple years back. bout people actually driving WITHOUT lights to be able to see the road.

you not shining the lights on blank air. your shining the lights on fog. the brighter the lights. the more you see the fog. all your doing is lighting up a white wall of clouds

I run alot of two lane roads as well, about 50% of my night is spent on two lane. Nothing like cresting a hill on a turn on a clear night and being blinded by some ding-a-ling with really bright fog lights....
