Heading to Prime 9/11/12

Well talked to the recruiter this morning and she bumped me up a day to monday 9/10 since i already have my permit. I was already coming in to Springfield on Sunday.

 

the e-cigs are working great (Thanks U2Exit) I'm down to about a half a pack a day. I will be totally on the e-cigs next week then I will be done with those 2 weeks after that.

LOL Easy Steamer I'm one of the original nerds from the 80's. I use to work for NASA in there Wind Turbine Project. I would drive all over the country in an over sized RV which had a computer system in it, collecting data for them. LOL I don't go anywhere with out my laptop.

Working in the computer industry we had a saying "Garbage in, Garbage Out" You are exactly correct if you program yourself to do it the right way you will always fall back on it when your are frustrated. That will be a big thing for me is to learn it right. Thanks for the big tip Easy.

At this point Sept 9th can't get here fast enough. My Son-in-law has a lawn care business and one of those long trailer. I'm going to practice backing it up into parking spots this weekend. I know it isn't like a big rig but it has been a long time since i worked with any type of trailer.

Are you guys going to that Lowe's Distribution Center in Hagerstown? I go past that center all the time.

The E-cigs are working even better now that i have a higher concentrate of nicotine (1.8 %)
Only a week to go and I'm just itching to get started. Is there anyone starting the week Sept 9th?

 

I've told myself i will be off the regular ones one way or another by the start of class. So I WILL(self talk) be a non smoker by then. I did have a set back this weekend. My youngest daughter was to move out with her husband (Army) to Ft Hood and my oldest daughter has been married and moved out. Saturday morning as my youngest was leaving my oldest told us that her husband wasn't able to keep it in his pants with another women and is moving back in. Which is a mixed blessing now my wife won't be alone in the house while I'm training (she was looking forward to the peace and quite) and by the time I get back from training I will have cooled off a bit. At least my youngest is in TX today LOL. The E-Cigs come in different flavors. I've been trying the Coffee flavor which is pretty good, now i don't drink a pot of coffee a day lol.

Luin Hope everything goes well and you get into the class. Do you have your permit yet? I have mine and I'll be starting on the Monday It would be easier to pick me out of a crowd, I'm 6' 5" tall and weight about 280 lbs salt and pepper hair (most of the time i wear a hat probably my Route 66 hat) and go by the name of Buddy. I'll be getting into the airport on Suday at 9:38pm and to the hotel after that.

I'm trying to get all my stuff into a carry-on so I don't have to check any bags. I will buy any other things that i need from the Walmart next to the hotel (sleeping bag, pillow, work gloves, some cloths ...). My ticket cost me 274.00 from Washington DC to Springfield MO. I got it thru Priceline about a couple of weeks ago. Prime is going to reimburse me 100.00 and the 174.00 is a tax deduction.
Well my last day at work is Thursday then I will be getting my stuff in order for departure on Sunday. I must have gone threw the check list (Last minute check...forget anything?) several times.

Did anyone here go to the Prime Picnic?
