Hey SSB....so here I am at the big Navistar Dealer event in Tooele Utah. I am working the off road dump truck course and this young man gets into my truck. He is driving the course and we are talking. He tells me he is from Lincoln Nebraska and I told him I had been there many times when I worked for Crete Carrier Corp. He tells me that his Grandfather works there at Crete. I ask his name and he tells me Duane Acklie.

Sure as hell I look at his name card and it says Ostergaard on it......I bit me tongue, told him his Grandfather is a nice guy and that was it.

He is in Navistars Management Apprenticeship Program. He works in the Columbus Ohio office.....

Crete definitely has low scores, when I got my pre pass, they told me I would get to bypass around 98% of the time.

Was that William Winston Ostergard? He is Tonn's son and works at Navistar.

Well, I know have a little taste for how Eve felt in the garden of Eden when offered the forbiden fruit...since I promised the veeps in High Command that I would keep my personal feelings about his Highness out of my posts, and that I wouldn't post personal negative statements about our king w/o having proof...I too will bite my tongue with the exception of this. I hope the Prince takes a lesson from his Grandfather when it comes to management style, and perhaps that maybe this was a gift...buy 2500 trucks, get an apprenticeship at no extra cost.

Now, if y'all would excuse me I have to go to the emergency room and get my tongue sewn back on, I think I may have just bitten it in two...if you hear a guy talking with a bit of a speech impediment or a lisp in a terminal...it may be me until this thing heals

I think it's Winston William Ostergard (according to Google).

I've had PrePass for about three months. Seldom do I get a red light.

Have any of you guys set up your Prepass using the online forms? During orientation, they gave us a form to fax, but I see an online process and wonder if that might be better (no typos and I can monitor my usage). Thanks

I submitted the form through Lincoln...within a week or so the unit was at my house. I didn't use the on-line service.
