It's Monday morning, and Crete is actually showing me a glimmer of hope (and brains) this morning.

Trying to get to SC by Wednesday for hometime. Got a load to p/u in Hannibal, MO, headed to Social Circle, GA. Original load info says load won't be ready til after 1400. So, I stop about 25 miles from the p/u for breakfast and a possible nap. Just got a message informing me that the load is ready AND gave me a trailer number on which the goods reside at present.

Too bad I've only got about 5 hours left of my 70 right now.....:biggrin_2552:....but I'll take it nonetheless....

The Snackbar is closed for remodeling (thunderbolt had a stroke) Will be back as soon as I can unless I get stuck at a motel, cuz my POS maxxfarce is causing major problems.

My wife is taking long distance dictation in my absence.

    48Packard Thanks this.

I was reassigned from a Maxxforce to a Cummins Prostar and this thing is even weaker than the Maxxforce.

I tried to type Prostar and it was auto corrected to prostate. Freudian slip.

LOL, regarding the phone thing. I qualcommed dispatch to see if I could pick up a ld early (computer said 1000-1300 next day). Dispatch came back and said "no, earliest is 1000 next day". Then I called cust shipping and they said "no, ld won't be ready until tomorrow." I went to the company (Coleman) to see if I could park overnight and the guard looked up the load and pointed to where it had been sitting preloaded the whole time. This was almost 24 hours before dispatch said I should even go there.

I have to pick up in Palatka, FL tomorow going to Cincinnati. They have me routed the scenic route up 95 to 26 to 40 to 75 so they can save 75 cents? on fuel by having me fuel in SC. Next time I'm in Lincoln I'm gonna give the fuel guy a map.
I hope ASSet man Kenny can change my fuel stop. 80721324.jpg

95-26-40-75 is the same way Google maps would take you.
