You got it!
Well, I was supposed to be headed home tonight, but here at sit at the Bordentown Petro. I was supposed to grab a load off of our drop yard here today for a 9am Monday delivery in Miami. Apparently, the driver that was supposed to get the load and bring it to the drop yard failed to show up to the shipper. So now I get to scoot up to NH to get loaded on Monday. Oh the fun!!
Hopefully, I'll be home by Wednesday...

The load that was dropped by Floatnlikefiber at that yard was going to Wisconsin for the 18th he loaded two trailers and dropped one there and took the other to Wally world in WI. That was Friday afternoon a load from the port(Del Monte) man that sucks bro they will run the dog crap out of you,he(Float) has over 30k since 6/24 with 11 days off and is running another 1200(with dead head) mile run right now going to GA for the 18th.
He went from Ottumwa,IA to Hawthorne,Jersey to the port to Bordentown back to port to take a load to Wisconsin unloaded that picked up a load in MN going to GA this is since Tuesday the 11th. -
32,840 to be exact right now with a 900 mile run to the shop truck is screwed up plus lost two tires same one twice!! yee haw picking up in Conyers going to OKC by Friday so a little under 4k for the week.
My GPS dated my reset at 6/24/12 at 10:43 0 miles by the time I get to OKC it will be 33,700 miles with about 11 days off 7 due to truck I think, about 440 miles per day. I think if you plan your trips you can't blame anything on elogs.Jarhed1964, Bigdubber and flightwatch Thank this. -
Got off of home time, and had a quick run to OKC. Now I'm at the yard to get the truck looked at. It's been using coolant, and since it's an ISX, my First thought is the EGR cooler. I also have a new inverter to get installed. Should be out by tomorrow evening or Sat morning. Not much else going on...just busy busy. Until next time!
Bigdubber Thanks this. -
hey flight did you switch to freymiller? if so how do you like it? im seriously considering them when i get a tad more experience . also im running an isx right now and keep buring oil and i fill it about every other day and every time i check it its low. just curious if you know what it might be?
-
I did switch to Freymiller. I love them! They treat their drivers like gold. As far as the oil consumption...That's a lot of oil being burned off or leaked out. You should really have a mechanic look at that. Is the truck smoking?
-
I'd sure like to know where all these miles are you guys speak of? i've been here for just over 2 years and have never seen miles like those since we been on e-logs
-
Now I'm not saying that is how you are, more just ranting than anything else...but there are miles to be had on e logs. It also depends on the dm. My 1st dm was garbage. I couldn't get any miles. My current one runs the crap out of me.Bigdubber Thanks this. -
im on my 3rd dm in the past 6 months..im still trying to figure out the picnic table people...everytime i get thru okc its the same ones sitting there..and as far as the elogs...i ve figured out how they work but still cant get the miles....just like this ld im on now..1200 miles and 4 1/2 days to do it...will be the 2nd 34 ive had this week..trust me when i say that id like to run 3500 a week but dispatch just dont send me those kinda loads...guess im just not kissing there ###.but then on would figure that since high country left and went to prime a few more of those better runs might come my way but havent yet..dont get me wrong im not complaining ...im doin ok just not seeing the kinda miles your talkin about...

I'm on one of those loads right now too. Elk City - Riverside...1200 miles and delivers Wed, but I'll be there Monday. I was told the receiver will accept it early...if not, they better find me a repower or a drop yard. My biggest pet peeve is babysitting a load. I have noticed that a lot of Freymillers own loads have plenty of time on them, but the brokered loads almost don't have enough time. I have run a ton of brokered frieght so far, but only to/from the East Coast. Now that I'm headed to the Left coast, we'll see what happens.
I was just at the yard to get a new inverter installed, and there were a ton of people there. They certainly want to know your business, but I'm a keep to myself kind of guy. I stay in my truck mostly. I get stared at like I'm an alien when I walk through the wall o' smoke to get to the drivers lounge. I haven't talked to a bunch of them, but the few I have spoken with are doing well.floatnlikefiber, Bigdubber and Jarhed1964 Thank this.
