Hey Everyone,
A friend and I are wanting to team drive. Neither of us have CDLs so we need a company that does training.
We were going to go with CRST until I read some of the horror stories on here.
Any suggestions are appreciated!

I heard Schneider has if not one of the best team policies and runs.

I recommend you guys going for a reefer company. Are you going to a private CDL-truck driving school or a company sponsored school? If you go to a private school, ask which trucking companies hire/recruit from that school. You can try the WIA program for financing; it's government program that pays for trucking school. Info at your state Dept. of Labor or unemployment office. How old are you? Some companies hire at 21 and some at 23.
Start checking different companies websites.
For example : Navajo.com (has email page for questions and 800-numbers)
CLICK HERE for a list of trucking companies that hire new drivers.
This is a partial list to consider. Since you both don't have
CDL's yet, you have plenty of time to research & use google.
Best wishes.
Again, running team, your best miles will probably be refrigerated(reefer) company. Just noticed you want company CDL training.Last edited: Oct 11, 2012

Central Refrigerated is a very good company to train and team with. You guys should be able to make some good money driving for them. They also have their own school in which you can get started for no money up front.

Thanks for the info guys!

I ran teams for Schneider on the Nissan dedicated account and it was good. My advice is to have your own team mate before you apply to SNI or any company.

Problem with refer is grocery warehouses, lots o sitting and few companies don't want to pay detention.
Location would help.
Schneider or conway truckload would be my first two recommendations. Werner has its good points also APU's. -
driveffe.com
