Reefer driving for rookies?

yeah hardest places ive ever backed into are places for reefer. makes me wonder how these guys with big petes and 300" wb and a 48' spread axle reefer get into these places

 

Hubby has taken photos of some of the docks he has been to for me. I just look at them and say 'better you than me' cause I know I'm crappy at backin!

More like 'lotta bit' out of practice . . . been 12 years since I've been in the seat, 7 years since my brain has functioned clearly (long story that involves pain and medication)

 

Yeah, I hear ya. I've been going through the ringer too, but I got it nailed down now and feeling like a spring chicken.

 

Same thing here! Don't think I'll be going back on the road though. From the feedback and info I get from the hubby, I'd end up shooting someone out there the way things are now! I've got other plans to get rolling now that I'm back to normal again!

 

OK, so what's the plan?

 

Getting my graphic design degree finished, working on promoting the book I finished earlier this year, getting the ball rolling to get hubby into his own truck, moving out of WI, and maybe expanding the trucking thing in a few years . . .

 

Sounds like some good goals. I thought you guys escaped to Fl awhile back.

 

Wanted to, but it got put on the back burner due to lack of funds. Probably be heading someplace more truck friendly than FL though.
