Sitting in my cab watchin' the parking rodeo at the Petro in North Little Rock.

 

Time to go visit the sheets. Have to be up at 0100 and at work by 0430. Looking forward to a couple hours of quiet time to dispatch Monday's loads and get Tuesday's ready to dispatch. Early day out and long weekend.

Had 2 drivers shut down today due to the high winds. One driver said he was pushing toward Ft Morgan CO, but when he saw his trailer lift off the ground he decided the load wasn't worth waiting to see if the next gust would tip him over. One driver ended up in the median yesterday when a gust hit him. He started out again today, and shut down because the wind just kept blowing him around. He was in SD. Our driver in NE delivered his last load in North Platte and said he was shutting down and would leave out around midnight when the winds were supposed to die down some.

I fought to keep my little car in my lane all the way home. I hope y'all kept it safe out there.

 

Cleveland, OH. Home for a reset! I am out for 5-6 weeks at a time, and since I had a delivery close by I figured I would take the opportunity to spend a few days at home. Be safe, y'all.
