I thought that I was going to CRST but I have three misdemeanors they said that I had one to many although one was in 2001 and one in 93 and one in 94 all of them for the same thing possession of marijuana and i have a dui charge that went along with the one in 94 but it was dismissed i should have never been charge with dui but the cop was just trying to stack on the charges and even though it was dismissed it still on my record that i was charge with dui not something that I am proud of at all and it is not a part of my life anymore and I have no problem with a drug test been sober now for over 10 years this is second com. that has shot me down because of my passed and I'm starting to think that I may have to start looking at some of the bottom feeders I heard so many horror story's about just to prove that the past is just that the past Not sure what to do now I'll keep looking I will be graduating Friday and want to get started soon as I can I hope that someone will give me a chance i have been layed off now over a year and need this bad.

We all (most) have something in our past that will keep us from one form of employment or another. Not much we can do except to reiterate what you seem to be aware of, there is some carrier out there who will give you a chance if what you're disclosing is all there is to your past. Besides, trucking (especially OTR) 'aint all it's cracked up to be, especially if you have kids, wife, or a girlfriend so don't feel like you're missing out on a lot of "fun times with great money" ... if you've been led to believe that, then I'm sorry. It's right for MAYBE 3 in 10 who try it and a mistake for 7 in 10. Where might you be?

Its alright. I know possession is a charge employers dont like esp in this industry but it was over 10 years ago. Most ask for 7 years. I dont think you should have a prob finding an employer
