Depends, if you get a trainer from GA, and he goes home, then you can go home also. Or if you get a reset/10hr break at the closest terminal you can go home for it most of the time. If you get a trainer from another state can be hard to drop you off and pick u back up from hometime.
-
It varies by different situations. If you live close to your Trainer you will, if you don't you may not. Millis tries to get you home for holdays like T-day and Christmas. Good Luck!

Hit or miss, I got lucky and grabbed two 10's and home for a few when my trainer took hometime. I got lucky on loads and location most don't get home much if at all.

thanks, thats what i need to hear. just want to be prepared when time comes.

but i wouldn,t plan on it. that way if it happens it a suprise. if it don,t and you were expecting it,it would be disappointing. you need to concentrate on the training first.
bryanrutledge Thanks this. -
I know the guy who trained me tries to get students close to him so they can go home when he does (which was every weekend). He just let me park at his house

I'm out on my third week with my trainer now. I'm sitting in a hotel in Indiana while he enjoys time with his family. ( i'm from virginia about 100 miles from Eden) so it's not always possible. This is the sixth week i've been out total including school time in Trenton Ohio. I planned to be out atleast 11 when I jumped on this journey. I have however got to sit down and have dinner with the girlfriend who met me about 2 hours away on my birthday. (whopping 24 years old). I've had a great experience out here with my trainer, NO complaints at all and I doubt I could ask for someone with more patience and family oriented. I take my CDL test for the first time on friday the 19th so hopefully i'll get to go home for atleast thanksgiving.
This is so much fun, being away for an extended time is so worth it.bryanrutledge Thanks this. -
Now that's the attitude to have. Kuddo's to you! And good luck on your test! -
