I was only in that one once no real issues other than they were really slow..

As angry as I get at some of things infiltrating this industry, it's still nice to have options relating to the type of work you want to perform. Absolutely one of the reasons that I chose this line of work, and why I'll drive until I retire....though not OTR!

I arrived home 19:30.

Best (Worst) thing today was wait an hour and a half for the load to be finally rejected and the paperwork filled out so I could take it back to SDV.

It wasn't all SDV's fault. They got the stuff from Solar Turbine and the red stripe paperwork and two of the boxes weren't correct.

SDV did screw up on the Airway Bill however.

 

at home, played in the snow all day but didn't have to chain... was a good day

 

I'm at an extended stay hotel in TN. My room has a kitchen, stove, big refrigerator, cable tv, 2 beds, table, chairs.... I brought my printer, scanner and made my little office here for a while. Will renew my CDL and Hazmat and tanker endorsement tomorrow.
