Home. The plan survived. I hurried to the truckstop where the trailer stays and waited. Got a run of all of 3-3.5 miles with 961# of HAZMAT. Waited and waited and got a run which I had to drive perhaps 10 miles to get to to get a 1 gallon HAZMAT to take perhaps 5-6 miles. And nothing more today.

Kinda wish the plan HAD NOT survived.....

 

What?! Hadnt eaten for a couple of days?! Oh man... Thats not good... Carry some food with you... Please dont starve...

 

I bet it is!!! And it is hot here... and I like it... Gosh.... every day starts with clouds here and I think it will rain but it doesnt.... Locals here say it only rains between March and July... or something like that. And that is what they call winter here...

 

16 degrees with crystal clear, starry skies here at 0345 this morning, Rocks. We had our first few snow flurries yesterday. You could see them in the air, but they didn't stick to anything.

 

Stinkin', lyin' weatherman promised sunny skies and 43 in Denver this morning... got mid 30's, windy, snow flurries.

Did I say Monday really blows?!!!

Played musical trailers this morning. Trailer no. 1... nope can't have that it's gettin' turned in. Trailer no. 2... whups, what's with the busted 'n missing door hinges. Shagged that one over to Great Dane, since I was heading that way anyway to get to Trailer no. 3... nope can't have that one it's gettin' turned in. (I'm getting seriously disillusioned about the halucinations of helpin' the ol' economy out through mass trailer purchases!) Trailer no. 4? Evidently just right... except I have to get a lock cut off the darn thing!



So obviously, it's time to git on the road again. Teen's, dark as all heck... Dodge City KS. Waitin' for the cows to freeze up enough so they can get kilt!

 

I've been looking for empty trailers all over the greater KC area and can't find one anywhere. Check with box management and they can't find any either. I feel your pain IP.
