Sounds like it has been a mild winter in the US so far... huh? I havent been following the weather in the USA. Here where I am is always hot summer and the winter.... I mean, the 3 months of rain hasnt started yet...

But for the good old Logbook argument I would be posting on my phone from Midland, TX.
I was just finishing lunch and no more than 8 miles from a pick up in Magnolia, TX when I got pulled and told to get to Economy Mud in Almeda, TX as fast as I could. Turns out they had sent a truck already but the driver wasn't Haz endorsed.

Because of a stubborn Bastid at SDV I rolled in home 20:35. He just HAD to have it delivered tonight. Not like it will get there any faster than if I did it in the morning.

Got three while I was at the office. Seems one had already been picked up. Another stupid dispatcher trick was I got a call when I was delivering my morning run. "How far are you from SDV?" told her still delivering. "I missed a 9am cutoff"

How is that MY problem. What a dingbat!

 

Fernley Nv. Over the hill in the morning to Lodi to deliver, then load up and head'er back to Canada and then having two weeks off for Christmas at home!

 

Dave, is she new to dispatching, or just new to SDV? Sounds like maybe she needs a little more training, or she needs to ask questions.

A little clarification WHY I weaseled out of going to Midland.... Truck needs a water pump and belt. Truck would need another tank of fuel in Midland. I do not have a sleeper.

The Pro of good money could not outweigh the cons!

Tolleson AZ, at the totally impersonal Costco DC. OTOH, Venus is sailing up above the sunrise and is quite beautiful here.
